Schumacher &amp; Co., also known as FSCO, is the parent company to many brands within our portfolio.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><strong>Public Relations Manager&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Role Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Serve as press liaison for all Schumacher-related launches and promotions, providing pertinent product information and photographic assets as requested by press outlets.</li> <li>Liaise with external PR firms, both in New York and internationally, attending meetings and disseminating information as needed.</li> <li>Keep detailed minutes of all PR meetings, both internal and external, and help set agendas for upcoming meetings.</li> <li>Write press releases about new Schumacher product launches, collaborations, events, and other initiatives.</li> <li>Plan press previews around new collection launches, which may also include designing invitations, compiling and assembling guests lists, securing venues and catering, etc.</li> <li>Help manage and coordinate requests for press interviews.</li> <li>Work with Marketing team to provide collection romance copy and lookbooks to press when appropriate and timely.</li> <li>Provide additional PR support as needed with Schumacher’s sister brand Frederic Media and promotional efforts with its quarterly magazine.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Role Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>In this cross-functional role, you will report to the VP of Editorial Marketing while maintaining clear communication with other departments, including Events, Social Media, and Branding, to ensure that shared goals are met consistently.</li> <li>You will have a demonstrated interest and proven aptitude in writing, particularly in public relations or mass communications, and ideally have several years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the interior design industry.</li> <li>You will bring to this role a roster of direct connections to and personal relationships with the interior design industry and its major players, including editors, designers and architects, social media entities, influencers, and more.</li> </ul> <p>Your well-being is our top priority.
