You’ll be helping grow a longstanding business while receiving the recognition and support your commitment to professional growth deserves.</p> <p><strong>Your Responsibilities as a Managing Engineer:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical staff on a wide variety of infrastructure projects—from planning and design through bidding and construction.</li> <li>Drive operational excellence by monitoring project schedules, budgets, technical quality, and team workload.</li> <li>Strengthen and expand client relationships and workload through responsive, value-driven engineering solutions.</li> <li>Guide and mentor staff to cultivate a high-performing team culture focused on quality, accountability, and professional growth.</li> <li>Develop and strengthen client relationships by proactively identifying new business opportunities through networking, thoughtful engagement, proposal preparation, and client presentations, supporting the growth of our regional business development program.</li> <li>Partner with division leadership on strategic planning, business development, and client relationship management throughout the western U.S.</li> <li>Play a central role in talent development, succession planning, and long-term organizational sustainability.</li> <li>Take the lead for refinement and implementation of the firm’s strategy, business growth plan, and day-to-day operations of our Denver office to achieve overall corporate objectives and ensure profitability.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we're looking for:</strong></p> <ul> <li>B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field)</li> <li>Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Colorado (or ability to obtain such a license)</li> <li>15+ years of civil engineering experience</li> <li>Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead multidisciplinary project teams</li> <li>Project management experience including development of project proposals, scopes, budgets, and successful execution of engineering projects</li> <li>Strong staff mentorship and performance management capabilities</li> <li>Experience with strategic planning, client development, and operational oversight</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communications skills, and strong interpersonal skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why you'll love working for us:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Flexible Schedule</li> <li>Competitive Pay</li> <li>Medical, Vision, Dental, and HSA</li> <li>Generous PTO</li> <li>401K Plan including employer contribution</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Annual Expected Pay Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$160,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$200,000 USD</span></div></div></div>
