This includes ownership of key month-end processes, supporting quarterly and annual reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities, as well as contributing to process improvements and SOX compliance initiatives.   More specifically, here are some of the key responsibilities: <ul> <li>Financial Reporting & Close (40%) <ul> <li>Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosures</li> <li>Support and oversee month-end close activities</li> <li>Analyze complex accounting transactions and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards</li> </ul> </li> <li>Budgeting & Forecasting (15%) <ul> <li>Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and board presentation materials</li> <li>Support forecasting processes and financial planning activities</li> </ul> </li> <li>Financial Analysis (15%) <ul> <li>Perform variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance</li> <li>Prepare ad hoc financial analysis to support management decision-making</li> </ul> </li> <li>Process Improvement & Projects (20%) <ul> <li>Participate in special projects, including financing initiatives, system implementations, and process automation</li> <li>Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy</li> </ul> </li> <li>Internal Controls & SOX Compliance (20%) <ul> <li>Support the design, implementation, and testing of internal controls</li> <li>Coordinate with external auditors and third-party firms to maintain SOX compliance</li> </ul> </li> <li>Cash Flow & Working Capital (10%) <ul> <li>Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor liquidity</li> </ul> </li> </ul>   Here's the profile we're looking for: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field</li> <li>CPA designation (required)</li> <li>4+ years of relevant experience, including 2–3 years in a corporate accounting or finance environment</li> <li>Experience in a Big Four or national accounting firm is an asset</li> <li>Strong knowledge of US GAAP; familiarity with US and Canadian securities regulations is an asset</li> <li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI)</li> <li>Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Jet Reports is an asset</li> <li>Knowledge of automation tools / AI is an asset</li> <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills</li> <li>Bilingual (French and English, written and spoken)</li> </ul>   We are excited to hear from you, so please apply!
