<div class="content-intro"><p>Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on Compass Health Center when in crisis – every day, we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.</p>
<p><strong>About This Role</strong> </p></div><p class="paragraph"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">At the core of Compass we believe in the power of community and connection, which is why we are committed to our group-based programming. As a group therapist in our Child and Adolescent Programs, you will spend the majority of your time with our patients facilitating evidenced based groups using modalities like CBT, DBT, and ACT. We are seeking new and experienced clinicians with a passion for delivering dynamic and informative groups for our patients. <p class="paragraph"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Please note the schedule for this role is Monday thru Friday 10-10:30am to 6-6:30pm.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Developing and implementing DBT/CBT skill groups, working with patients in our Child Program (aged 8-13 years old) and in our Adolescent Program (aged 4-17 years old)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Providing crisis intervention and staff support, as needed</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Developing and documenting treatment plans and weekly update</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Co-facilitating creative expression and other experiential therapeutic groups</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Assisting program director in supporting families through phone coaching and follow-up calls</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Checking in with treatment team about changes and progress for individual patients</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Providing clinical observations and insights during interdisciplinary meetings</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Providing individual support to patients, as needed</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Providing support to other team members in various treatment groups</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Providing guidance and support for milieu staff during skills and executive functioning therapy activities/instruction</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Participating in discharge planning for patients</span></li>
<li>Other duties, as assigned</li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Who You Are:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li>Are a Psychologist or Master’s level therapist with clinical experience conducting intakes, individual therapy, and group therapy</li>
<li>Have knowledge and experience of group dynamics utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as other evidenced-based therapies</li>
<li>Have experience with patients in crisis</li>
<li>Have prior experience working in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential setting</li>

This range includes multiple career path levels across the organization; where you fall in the range is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, your years of experience, type of experience, location, and education/certifications. <p>Compass Health Center is a recognized leader in crisis-level mental health, bringing passion, connection, and patient-centered care to the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient space (PHP/IOP). Based in Chicagoland, we serve hundreds of patients every day, ranging from ages 5 through adulthood, in our onsite facilities or through our flourishing virtual programming. Compass fills a critical gap between outpatient and inpatient care through an intermediate level of Behavioral Healthcare.<em> </em> </p>
