This role serves as the key link between production and maintenance, ensuring work is properly scoped, resourced, scheduled, and executed efficiently.  responsibilities:   <ul> <li>Provide technical solutions and expertise in engineering and maintenance for milk receiving, separators, membrane filtration, and CIP systems. Serve as a top resource and technical expert for plant processing equipment. </li> <li>Partner with equipment and maintenance technicians to grow the overall technical knowledge and performance of equipment. </li> <li>Support production with advanced equipment troubleshooting. </li> <li>Engineer solutions to improve overall equipment reliability. </li> <li>Determine root cause of reliabilities failures and implement measures to prevent future events. </li> <li>Analyze machine efficiency and reliability data to identify opportunities for improving performance. </li> <li>Train maintenance and equipment technicians to grow overall technical capabilities. </li> <li>Preform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. </li> </ul> skills/qualifications required:   <ul> <li>Minimum 5+ years of experience in a maintenance planning, with in‑depth knowledge of industrial mechanical systems </li> <li>Proficiency in CMMS platforms, Microsoft Office, and related project planning or scheduling software</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret vendor manuals, technical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs</li> <li>Strong commitment to safety, standard work, and teamwork in a manufacturing environment</li> <li>Proven ability to work autonomously toward defined goals with limited day‑to‑day supervision  </li> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors  </li> <li>Demonstrated root cause problem‑solving skills and the ability to implement sustainable solutions </li> <li>Highly organized, with a proven ability to manage multiple complex priorities simultaneously</li> </ul> working conditions and physical requirements:   <ul> <li>12 hours sitting/standing/walking around the production floor </li> <li>Ability to lift up to 40 lbs of materials </li> <li>Reaching/bending requirements including climbing ladders or elevated areas </li> <li>Hand dexterity for operating machinery or computer systems </li> <li>Exposure to hazards (machinery noise, confined spaces, chemical handling, etc.) </li> <li>Wearing PPE such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and slip-resistant boots </li> <li>Specific atmospheric conditions and environmental factors </li> <li>Any other physical requirements including desk work, meetings, and data entry </li> </ul> food safety requirements:  <ul> <li>Notify leadership of any repairs or adjustments that may affect product quality or food safety </li> <li>Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in the Production Areas </li> <li>Perform all duties necessary to meet Company, Customer and/or Government requirements/standards as prioritized by the Company</li> <li>Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system</li> <li>Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system</li> <li>Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected </li> <li>In the event of absence, another employee with the same skill level will assume the duties and responsibilities as required</li> </ul> how fairlife nourishes you:   At fairlife, we believe in better — and that includes how we support our people.
