The role is the integration point between the sales, supply chain, and production planning teams.  Key Accountabilities: Demand Planning and S&OP <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Own and maintain monthly item-level forecasts, including new products, across assigned customers and markets.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Lead regional and local demand reviews with Sales and Account Management, driving alignment on assumptions, risks, opportunities, and the unconstrained demand plan.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Serve as a customer-facing demand planning expert, effectively communicating Berlin’s planning capabilities and building customer confidence in our ability to forecast and manage their business.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Partner directly with customers, Sales, and Account Management to understand demand drivers, upcoming initiatives, new opportunities, and changes in customer behavior and translate them into actionable forecasts.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Analyze historical trends, orders, inventory, market intelligence, and other demand signals to develop and continuously improve forecasts.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, identify significant variances versus forecast, budget, and actual sales, and lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Planning, Ops, and other stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities and ensure alignment between demand and supply plans.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Drive continuous improvement through demand segmentation, exception management, demand-pattern analysis, customer-behavior analysis, and improved planning processes.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ensure Kinaxis and related planning tools are used effectively, consistently, and in accordance with established planning processes.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Proactively communicate material demand changes, customer issues, and business risks to regional and central Supply Planning.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Develop and maintain meaningful reporting and insights that support business decisions and the S&OP process.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrate Berlin Values through strong ownership, collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a focus on profitable results. </li> </ul> Mentor & Develop Others <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Mentor employees, with a focus on enhancing their Demand Planning, Logility, and S&OP skills—including Statistical Forecasting and Advanced Logility functionality.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Support a continuous improvement mode of operation.</li> </ul> Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Planning or equivalent</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">5+ years of experience in a demand planning or related role</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Working knowledge of demand planning systems such as Kinaxis, Logility, Blue Yonder</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Proficient in MS office applications.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">APICS certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) is preferred</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Sound knowledge of supply chain functions including, demand, replenishment and sourcing processes</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong systems / process orientation with proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrates the ability to learn Berlin Packaging’s business, products, customers, and suppliers</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to reason and influence at all levels</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
