About the Role

<h2><strong>Join a high-performing team for an NYC-based custom apparel company</strong></h2> <p>This is <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/crisheld/">Crishel</a>, the Creative Director at Fresh Prints.</p> <p>I joined Fresh Prints right after college as an Artist. The job was intense. I was creating 16 designs from prompts… Every. Single. Day.</p> <p>I could do it if you asked me to. But more than that, I wanted to understand how creativity could drive impact. I wanted to see how ideas moved beyond a design file and shaped how people experience a brand.</p> <p>When I moved to the Growth Team, everything changed. It wasn’t just about making things look good anymore. It was about thinking like a marketer, contributing to strategy, and understanding how creative work connects to the business.</p> <p>The turning point came when my manager, Jolijt, said: “Okay Crishel, you’re in charge.” After multiple attempts to find the right Creative Director, she decided to take a chance on me. That shift forced me to rethink everything. I had to unlearn habits as a graphic designer and start thinking about vision, systems, and people.</p> <p>Today, creative work means more than aesthetics to me. It’s about how design serves the brand, how it makes people feel, and how it creates real value.</p> <p>Now, we’re looking for creatives who want to do more than execute designs. People who want to think bigger, collaborate deeply, and help build how creative work scales at Fresh Prints.</p> <p>If this sounds exciting, we’d love to hear from you!</p> <h3><strong>Graphic Designer</strong></h3> <p>A lot of companies treat design like a service desk. Someone on the marketing team has a need, the designer executes it, and the output is fine — functional, forgettable, and utterly unremarkable. That's not us.</p> <p>At Fresh Prints, the Creative team sets the standard for everything our brand touches. We're looking for a Graphic Designer who takes genuine pride in the craft, sweats the details nobody else notices, and cares deeply about what the work actually looks like in the world.</p> <p>This <em>isn't</em> a role where you'll be handed fully-formed briefs and asked to color inside the lines. You'll work directly with our Creative Director and Art Director in a small, fast team where your taste and your output both matter.</p> <p><strong>This role is about:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Executing design work across digital and print at a high standard, consistently</li> <li>Working within our brand system and knowing when to push its edges</li> <li>Turning briefs - sometimes clear, sometimes messy - into assets that look exceptional</li> <li>Moving quickly without letting quality slip</li> <li>Building your craft as part of a team that will push you</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What You'll Own</strong></h3> <p><strong>Design Execution</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and produce assets across formats: social graphics, paid ads, email headers, web banners, print collateral, sales decks, and one-pagers</li> <li>Deliver production-ready files consistently on brief and on time</li> <li>Maintain and update brand asset libraries and templates</li> </ul> <p><strong>Brand Consistency</strong></p> <ul> <li>Apply the Fresh Prints brand system with precision&nbsp;</li> <li>Flag when a brief would result in off-brand work and propose alternatives</li> <li>Help build and refine brand templates that make quality faster and easier for the whole team</li> </ul> <p><strong>Collaboration &amp; Candor</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work closely with the Creative Director and Art Director on campaigns and launches</li> <li>Understand the purpose and audience of each asset</li> <li>Receive and respond to creative feedback constructively and quickly</li> <li>Communicate clearly about timelines, constraints, and tradeoffs</li> <li>Use your brain and your voice — we expect everyone to think critically about every piece of every campaign and to speak up with passion and vision whenever they believe the work could be better</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Who You Are</strong></h3> <ul> <li>You have strong design fundamentals. You understand type, hierarchy, color, and layout at a level beyond personal taste</li> <li>You understand, respect, and love the customers — you know that your job is to design <em>for them</em>, not design in general</li> <li>You're fast and you're consistent. Quality doesn't drop on your tenth asset of the week.</li> <li>You know the difference between "close enough" and "actually good" and you're not okay with close enough</li> <li>You have strong, informed opinions and you're not afraid to share them.</li> <li>You take feedback well. You don't confuse feedback on your work with feedback on you.</li> <li>You ask good questions before you start, not after you've built the wrong thing</li> <li>You’re ambitious and want to earn a spot as an AD or CD one day</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong>At least 1 to 3 years of professional graphic design experience</strong></li> <li>Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills — Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign at minimum</li> <li>Figma proficiency for collaborative design and file sharing</li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong>A portfolio that shows range across formats (digital and print) and demonstrates an eye for craft</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>IMPORTANT NOTE: </strong>This is a talent pool. We will reach out to you if we find a suitable match to move forward in the recruitment process.</p> <p><strong>Job Location:</strong>&nbsp;Work From Home / Remote</p> <p><strong>Working Hours:</strong> 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM EST (US Timings), Monday to Friday</p> <p><strong>Monthly Salary:</strong>&nbsp;Competitive salary, depending on experience</p> <p>At Fresh Prints, we deeply value the long-term contributions of our team.
