These contractors will be engaged on an as‑needed basis for implementations, upgrades, integrations, reporting, staff augmentation and operational support.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for independent consultants and contractors who enjoy flexible, project‑based work in higher education environments.</p> <h3>Areas of Expertise We’re Seeking</h3> <p>We are interested in candidates with expert levell hands on experience in one or more of the following Ellucian Colleague areas:</p> <p><strong>Functional Modules</strong></p> <ul> <li>Student (Admissions, Registration, Records)</li> <li>Financial Aid</li> <li>Finance (GL, AP, AR)</li> <li>Human Resources &amp; Payroll</li> <li>Accounts Receivable / Student Finance</li> <li>Colleague SaaS / Cloud experience</li> </ul> <p><strong>Technical &amp; Reporting</strong></p> <ul> <li>Colleague Core / Data Model</li> <li>Envision / UniBasic&nbsp; Programming</li> <li>JavaScript, React, PostgreSQL, etc. for Ellucian Experience, Data Connect, Insights and others</li> <li>Colleague WebAdvisor</li> <li>Ethos Integration / APIs (REST &amp; SOAP) <ul> <li>Ellucian Experience: Custom card development, UI enhancements.</li> <li>Data Connect: Creation and management of integration pipelines.</li> <li>Intelligent Processes: Automated workflows to streamline processes.</li> <li>Insights: Leveraging data insights for decision-making.</li> <li>Intelligent Learning Platform (ILP): Integration with learning management systems.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Informer</li> <li>Colleague Studio, Self-Service, ELF</li> <li>Custom forms, rules, and workflows</li> <li>Data conversions and system upgrades</li> </ul> <h3>Responsibilities (Engagement‑Dependent)</h3> <ul> <li>Provide functional or technical expertise for Ellucian Colleague projects</li> <li>Support system implementations, upgrades, and optimizations</li> <li>Troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions</li> <li>Collaborate with functional users, IT staff, and vendors</li> <li>Develop documentation and knowledge transfer materials</li> <li>Participate in project meetings as required</li> </ul> <h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Demonstrated expertise working with Ellucian Colleague (functional and/or technical)</li> <li>5 or more years working in Higher education</li> <li>Previous consulting or contractor experience</li> <li>Ability to work independently and manage deliverables</li> <li>Strong communication and documentation skills</li> <li>Availability to engage in short‑term or long‑term contracts</li> <li>Experience supporting Colleague SaaS environments (nice to have)</li> </ul> <h3>Why Join SIG's Contractor Bench?</h3> <ul> <li>Flexible, project‑based engagements</li> <li>Opportunity to work on diverse Colleague initiatives</li> <li>Remote work options</li> <li>Ongoing opportunities as projects arise</li> <li>Hourly contractor rates between $70 and $85</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>The listed salary range for this position is indicative and subject to adjustment based on the candidate's unique skills and location.
