Maintenance Technician at EMIT Technologies, Inc.

<h4><strong>Specific Role:</strong></h4> <p data-start="157" data-end="637">We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team at EMIT Technologies. In this role, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and maintaining a wide range of facility and industrial systems - including HVAC, forklifts, electrical systems, instrumentation &amp; controls (I&amp;E), PLCs, and production equipment. You’ll play a critical role in keeping our operations running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.</p> <h4><strong data-start="647" data-end="672">Key Accountabilities:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on facility infrastructure and industrial equipment</li> <li data-start="674" data-end="1940">Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems</li> <li data-start="674" data-end="1940">Maintain and repair HVAC systems, including routine preventative maintenance</li> <li data-start="674" data-end="1940">Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts and material handling equipment</li> <li data-start="674" data-end="1940">Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including panels, circuits, and wiring</li> <li data-start="674" data-end="1940">Diagnose electrical malfunctions and ensure compliance with electrical codes</li> <li data-start="674" data-end="1940">Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate instrumentation and control systems</li> <li data-start="674" data-end="1940">Program, troubleshoot, and modify PLCs and related control systems to improve operational efficiency</li> <li data-start="674" data-end="1940">Install, assemble, and test new equipment or system components</li> <li data-start="674" data-end="1940">Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to troubleshoot issues</li> <li data-start="674" data-end="1940">Document all maintenance activities, work orders, repairs, and parts used in a timely manner</li> <li data-start="674" data-end="1940">Collaborate with production teams to minimize equipment downtime</li> <li data-start="674" data-end="1940">Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked maintenance area</li> <li data-start="674" data-end="1940">Assist with identifying and ordering replacement parts and maintenance supplies</li> <li data-start="674" data-end="1940">Ensure all maintenance activities follow safety procedures, regulatory standards, and EMIT policies</li> </ul> <h4 data-start="1947" data-end="1969"><strong data-start="1950" data-end="1969">Qualifications:</strong></h4> <ul> <li data-start="1971" data-end="2630">High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred</li> <li data-start="1971" data-end="2630">3+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment</li> <li data-start="1971" data-end="2630">Hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical systems, forklifts, I&amp;E, and PLCs strongly preferred</li> <li data-start="1971" data-end="2630">Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities</li> <li data-start="1971" data-end="2630">Working knowledge of PLC programming and control systems</li> <li data-start="1971" data-end="2630">Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals</li> <li data-start="1971" data-end="2630">Relevant certifications (HVAC, electrical, etc.) are a plus</li> <li data-start="1971" data-end="2630">Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation</li> <li data-start="1971" data-end="2630">Comfortable working independently and as part of a team</li> </ul> <h4 data-start="2637" data-end="2675"><strong data-start="2640" data-end="2675">Physical &amp; Safety Requirements:</strong></h4> <ul> <li data-start="2677" data-end="2877">Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li> <li data-start="2677" data-end="2877">Comfortable standing, walking, and moving throughout an entire shift</li> <li data-start="2677" data-end="2877">Always use applicable PPE</li> <li data-start="2677" data-end="2877">Follow all safety protocols when using tools and handling materials</li> </ul> <p data-start="2884" data-end="2969">&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h5 style="text-align: center;">We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome candidates from all backgrounds.</h5><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Pay Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$22</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$32 USD</span></div></div></div>
