About the Role

<p><strong>Associate Director, Culture</strong><br>PR Consulting is a brand strategy and public relations agency that specializes in developing and communicating authentic narratives to position companies and individuals across multi-platform channels.</p> <p>Our company is currently seeking talented candidates at the Director level to join our Fashion/Culture team leading strategic communications planning and programming for best in class fashion, retail and sport clients. Focuses include strategic consulting, execution and management of a team consisting of Jr - Sr. Managers, Coordinators and Assistants.</p> <p>The ideal candidate would be joining our dynamic team, and should be enthusiastic, dedicated, and culture obsessed.</p> <p><strong>Job Description</strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversee a number of brands in fashion, retail and culture, managing multiple team members across a range of levels, fostering an environment of creative collaboration and teamwork</li> <li>Lead and create strategy and campaign development, as well as pitch feature level earned media and spearhead sponsored activations</li> <li>Develop and execute comprehensive brand building strategies that are unique to each client’s objectives</li> <li>Leverage top tier media relationships across fashion, culture, lifestyle, design, and business – both domestic and international - to secure high level placements across print, broadcast, and digital mediums</li> <li>Offer client thoughtful recommendations on communications &amp; marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness</li> <li>Oversee all earned media editorial strategy and execution and ensure client’s KPIs are met and tasks are being executed at the highest level</li> <li>Develop trusting relationships with clients and act as a senior council - troubleshooting and ideating solutions</li> <li>The Associate Director will impart structure and best practices across the department, working with a&nbsp;dedicated team on bigger picture strategy and day-to-day client service</li> <li>Manage client, project and travel budgets</li> <li>Plan and manage execution of events including invitation lists, securing media, managing interviews andphotographers</li> <li>Craft new business proposals and scopes; develop new business alongside agency VPs</li> <li>Foster agency collaboration between different teams and departments</li> <li>Report to the agency VPs</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>6-8 years Fashion/Retail PR experience</li> <li>Relationships with top tier media and a diverse group of KOLs and experience aligning appropriate influencers with brands</li> <li>Strong writing communication, leadership and presentation skills; ability to effectively articulate ideas both&nbsp;internally and externallyReliable, detail oriented, and able to effectively manage time and complete tasks with speed and efficiency; ability to multitask across various projects and clients</li> <li>Ability to manage a range of personalities and crisis situations with calm professionalism</li> <li>Evolving knowledge of the digital landscape and ability to oversee social strategy and content calendars</li> <li>Can do attitude with the ability to gracefully manage both up and down</li> <li>Must be available to work full time, on site at our offices in New York City, with remote work eligibility on Fridays</li> </ul> <p><strong>Salary Range</strong> $100,000 - $115,000</p>
