As our first local marketing person in the region, you will design and execute a comprehensive GTM strategy that accounts for the diversity of the Indian landscape.&nbsp;</p> <p>You will be responsible for identifying high-growth clusters, navigating complex regulatory environments, and building a unified voice that resonates across multiple borders. Your work spans social, influencers, partner and event marketing. You will be a fulcrum of all the region's outbound activity.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> This is a full time hybrid position based in our Gurugram, India office.</p> <p><strong>Shift</strong>: 9am-5pm IST (Cabs will be provided)</p> <h4>&nbsp;</h4> <h4><strong>You Will:</strong></h4> <ul> <li><strong>Holistic Regional Strategy:</strong> Design a scalable marketing framework that can be adapted for Tier 1 markets (high volume) and Tier 2/3 markets (high growth).</li> <li><strong>Agile GTM Execution:</strong> Lead product launches across the region, prioritizing markets based on data, barrier to entry, and product-market fit.</li> <li><strong>Cross-Border Community &amp; Influencer Growth:</strong> Leverage the region’s high social media penetration to build a loyal community through influencer partnerships and localized social channels (WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok).</li> <li><strong>Policy &amp; Comms Collaboration:</strong> Work closely with legal and policy teams to navigate the varied regulatory landscapes of the region, ensuring brand safety and compliance.</li> <li><strong>Event Strategy:</strong> Identify and secure a presence at the most influential regional conferences and trade shows to establish industry authority.</li> </ul> <h4>&nbsp;</h4> <h4><strong>You Have:</strong></h4> <ul> <li><strong>8+ years of marketing experience</strong> with a deep, pan-regional focus across India.</li> <li><strong>Independent drive</strong> with proven ability to operate within a strategic framework while driving outcomes with less day to day oversight.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Broad Market Knowledge:</strong> Experience managing marketing efforts in diverse environments, from audience demographics to policy nuances to varied audience perception to economics.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>5+ years in Consumer Tech:</strong> Deep understanding of the Indian consumer journey, specifically mobile-first behaviors and local trust barriers.</li> <li><strong>Strategic Influence:</strong> Proven ability to advocate for regional needs (budget, product features, localizations) at a US-based HQ.</li> <li><strong>Data-Driven Scrappiness:</strong> Ability to drive growth in "low-data" environments by being resourceful and hands-on.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p>Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).</p> <p>Roblox provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
