If you're ready to drive change and make history, apply now!</div><h4>The Role</h4> As Specialist, Experiential, you'll help reimagine the iconic Scout brand by creating experiences that bring our story to life through product launches, community events, cultural activations, media programs, and employee experiences.  Reporting to the Manager, Experiential, you'll independently lead experiential programs while supporting larger, high-profile initiatives across the Scout portfolio. Leveraging your expertise in experiential marketing and event production, you'll evaluate opportunities, solve complex challenges, and recommend solutions that balance business objectives, brand standards, and customer experience.  Operating with considerable independence, you'll partner with cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, agencies, and vendors to deliver exceptional experiences that strengthen connections with customers, communities, partners, and employees.  <h4>What you’ll do</h4> Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: <ul> <li>Support the planning, creative development, and execution of Scout's portfolio of lifestyle experiences, product launches, community events, cultural activations, media programs, and internal brand experiences. </li> <li>Partner with the Manager, Experiential to develop event concepts, themes, and programming that authentically reflect the Scout brand and resonate with our growing community. </li> <li>Independently lead smaller-scale events and experiences from initial concept through post-event wrap-up while supporting larger tentpole activations and launches. </li> <li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing timelines, budgets, priorities, and stakeholder expectations across approximately ten events annually. </li> <li>Develop and manage comprehensive event plans, production schedules, run-of-show documentation, staffing plans, logistics, vendor coordination, permitting, and onsite execution activities. </li> <li>Evaluate event, operational, and stakeholder challenges, applying sound judgment and experiential expertise to develop creative solutions, recommend actions, and drive successful program outcomes. </li> <li>Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across all levels of the organization, building strong relationships, influencing decisions, and providing guidance on event strategy, attendee experience, and execution best practices. </li> <li>Partner with external agencies, production partners, suppliers, and vendors to ensure exceptional execution while maintaining Scout's quality and brand standards. </li> <li>Manage program budgets, purchase orders, invoices, expense tracking, reconciliations, and financial reporting throughout the event lifecycle. </li> <li>Coordinate attendee communications, travel logistics, and event preparation materials to ensure a seamless participant experience. </li> <li>Support the development of event marketing plans in partnership with Communications, Community, Digital, and Social Media teams to maximize visibility and engagement. </li> <li>Capture key event learnings by collecting attendee feedback, measuring performance against established KPIs, and preparing post-event recaps with recommendations for continuous improvement. </li> <li>Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and operational efficiencies that help the Experiential team scale as Scout continues to grow. </li> <li>Serve as an ambassador of the Scout brand during onsite events by fostering memorable experiences for customers, partners, media, and employees. </li> </ul> Location & Travel Expectations: <ul> <li>This role may be based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC. </li> <li>This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events. </li> <li>Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.</li> <li>Travel: Requires approximately 30% domestic travel to support events, launches, and brand experiences throughout the United States. </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="4" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="4" data-aria-level="1">Requires occasional travel to the Scout Motors Innovation Center in Novi, Michigan, the Scout Motors Production Center in Blythewood, South Carolina, and other event locations as business needs require. </li> <li>Valid driver's license required. Here's what else you'll bring:  <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, Hospitality, Business, or a related field. </li> <li>4–8 years of experience producing events, experiential marketing programs, brand activations, or lifestyle experiences. </li> <li>Experience independently managing events from concept through execution and post-event reporting. </li> <li>Demonstrated expertise in experiential marketing, event production, or brand activation with a strong understanding of industry best practices, operational planning, and attendee engagement strategies. </li> <li>Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives independently while contributing in a collaborative team environment. </li> <li>Strong communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess ambiguity, influence stakeholders, translate strategy into memorable experiences, and provide thoughtful recommendations. </li> <li>Experience managing vendors, production partners, agencies, and event suppliers. </li> <li>Experience tracking budgets, managing purchase orders, invoices, and financial reconciliation. </li> <li>Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. </li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint. </li> <li>Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as event schedules require. </li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications  <ul> <li>Experience producing events for consumer brands, lifestyle brands, sports, music, outdoor, or cultural events and activations. </li> <li>Agency experience supporting experiential marketing, integrated marketing campaigns, or event production. </li> <li>Experience supporting premium customer experiences, product launches, or community engagement programs. </li> <li>Familiarity working within fast-paced, matrixed organizations where collaboration across multiple departments is essential. </li> <li>Passion for the outdoors, adventure, community building, and creating meaningful brand experiences. </li> </ul> <h4>What you'll gain</h4> The benefits of joining Scout include the chance to build products and a company from the ground up.  This is a chance to create something new and lasting – with an iconic brand at its foundation.  In addition, Scout provides competitive compensation and benefits to support your physical, mental, and financial wellbeing. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
