To learn more about Pearce visit <a href="http://www.pearce-services.com">http://www.pearce-services.com</a>.</p></div><p>&nbsp;</p> <h2 data-start="276" data-end="292">Your Impact:&nbsp;</h2> <p data-start="293" data-end="690">We are seeking a <strong data-start="310" data-end="358">self-motivated, detail-oriented OSP Engineer</strong> to manage engineering efforts related to <strong data-start="400" data-end="468">road moves, highway widening, and public infrastructure projects</strong>. This role requires close coordination with <strong data-start="513" data-end="601">state/local agencies, DOT, utility companies, contractors, and internal stakeholders</strong> to ensure the timely and efficient relocation or protection of telecom infrastructure.</p> <p data-start="692" data-end="906">The ideal candidate has a <strong data-start="718" data-end="751">strong engineering background</strong>, the ability to <strong data-start="768" data-end="814">work independently in a remote environment</strong>, and excellent communication skills to support projects from design through construction.</p> <hr data-start="908" data-end="911"> <h2 data-start="913" data-end="938">Core Responsibilities</h2> <ul data-start="939" data-end="1935"> <li data-start="939" data-end="1083"> <p data-start="941" data-end="1083">Lead OSP engineering tasks for <strong data-start="972" data-end="1015">road move and highway widening projects</strong>, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.</p> </li> <li data-start="1084" data-end="1215"> <p data-start="1086" data-end="1215">Coordinate with <strong data-start="1102" data-end="1153">DOT, municipalities, utilities, and contractors</strong> to align relocation plans with road construction schedules.</p> </li> <li data-start="1216" data-end="1332"> <p data-start="1218" data-end="1332">Perform <strong data-start="1226" data-end="1279">field surveys, site walks, and impact assessments</strong> on aerial, buried, and underground infrastructure.</p> </li> <li data-start="1333" data-end="1498"> <p data-start="1335" data-end="1498">Develop <strong data-start="1343" data-end="1411">engineering designs, construction packages, and relocation plans</strong> for fiber/copper cable, pole transfers, conduit adjustments, and related facilities.</p> </li> <li data-start="1499" data-end="1570"> <p data-start="1501" data-end="1570">Provide <strong data-start="1509" data-end="1567">cost estimates, materials lists, and project timelines</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-start="1571" data-end="1673"> <p data-start="1573" data-end="1673">Serve as the <strong data-start="1586" data-end="1617">primary engineering contact</strong> during planning, permitting, and construction phases.</p> </li> <li data-start="1674" data-end="1773"> <p data-start="1676" data-end="1773">Maintain accurate documentation: <strong data-start="1709" data-end="1770">as-builts, CAD drawings, GIS updates, and permit packages</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-start="1774" data-end="1863"> <p data-start="1776" data-end="1863">Collaborate cross-functionally with <strong data-start="1812" data-end="1860">Construction, Planning, and Permitting teams</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-start="1864" data-end="1935"> <p data-start="1866" data-end="1935">Ensure compliance with <strong data-start="1889" data-end="1932">RUS, NESC, and company design standards</strong>.</p> </li> </ul> <hr data-start="1937" data-end="1940"> <h2 data-start="1942" data-end="1970">Core Qualifications</h2> <ul data-start="1971" data-end="2881"> <li data-start="1971" data-end="2077"> <p data-start="1973" data-end="2077">Bachelor’s degree in <strong data-start="1994" data-end="2047">Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field</strong> (or equivalent experience).</p> </li> <li data-start="2078" data-end="2194"> <p data-start="2080" data-end="2194"><strong data-start="2080" data-end="2094">3–5+ years</strong> OSP Engineering experience, ideally with <strong data-start="2136" data-end="2191">roadway relocation or utility coordination projects</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-start="2195" data-end="2295"> <p data-start="2197" data-end="2295">Strong knowledge of <strong data-start="2217" data-end="2231">OSP design</strong> (aerial &amp; underground), construction methods, and permitting.</p> </li> <li data-start="2296" data-end="2382"> <p data-start="2298" data-end="2382">Experience working with <strong data-start="2322" data-end="2379">state DOTs, municipalities, and 3rd-party contractors</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-start="2383" data-end="2462"> <p data-start="2385" data-end="2462">Proficiency in <strong data-start="2400" data-end="2459">AutoCAD, GIS, Microsoft Office, and OSP design software</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-start="2463" data-end="2543"> <p data-start="2465" data-end="2543">Excellent <strong data-start="2475" data-end="2533">project management, problem-solving, and communication</strong> skills.</p> </li> <li data-start="2544" data-end="2635"> <p data-start="2546" data-end="2635">Ability to <strong data-start="2557" data-end="2601">work independently in field environments</strong> and manage multiple priorities.</p> </li> <li data-start="2636" data-end="2713"> <p data-start="2638" data-end="2713">Flexible, adaptable, and able to respond to <strong data-start="2682" data-end="2710">changing project demands</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-start="2714" data-end="2815"> <p data-start="2716" data-end="2815">Strong <strong data-start="2723" data-end="2743">listening skills</strong> with the ability to follow directions and apply feedback effectively.</p> </li> <li data-start="2816" data-end="2881"> <p data-start="2818" data-end="2881">May assist with <strong data-start="2834" data-end="2878">training and onboarding new team members</strong>.</p> </li> </ul> <hr data-start="2883" data-end="2886"> <h2 data-start="2888" data-end="2917">Preferred Qualifications</h2> <ul data-start="2918" data-end="3262"> <li data-start="2918" data-end="3026"> <p data-start="2920" data-end="3026">Experience with <strong data-start="2936" data-end="2977">DOT projects and utility coordination</strong> on large-scale road or infrastructure efforts.</p> </li> <li data-start="3027" data-end="3104"> <p data-start="3029" data-end="3104">Knowledge of <strong data-start="3042" data-end="3076">ROW (Right-of-Way) regulations</strong> and permitting processes.</p> </li> <li data-start="3105" data-end="3184"> <p data-start="3107" data-end="3184">Familiarity with <strong data-start="3124" data-end="3181">fiber optic splicing, restoration, and network design</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-start="3185" data-end="3262"> <p data-start="3187" data-end="3262">Experience with systems such as <strong data-start="3219" data-end="3259">ARAMIS, LFACS, MIC, WALDO, and TIRKS</strong>.</p> </li> </ul> <hr data-start="3264" data-end="3267"> <h2 data-start="3269" data-end="3305">Work Environment &amp;
