Springboard Internship - Design (2D) at Landor

<p><strong>Title:</strong> 2D Design Intern<br><br><strong>Role Overview<br><br></strong></p> <p class="p1">You will play a crucial role in providing support to the Creative team with exploring and conceptualising design approaches&nbsp;and solutions across various projects that maintain the company’s vision and creative beliefs – ‘great ideas expertly and&nbsp;beautifully crafted and delivered with rigour and flair’.</p> <p class="p1"><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p> <p class="p1">• Creative Conceptualization – Ideate &amp; collaborate with the Creative team to craft concepts that are inventive, and&nbsp;strategic, and create meaningful experiences for diverse industries and audiences.</p> <p class="p1">• Visual Asset Design &amp; Support - Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams to bring our client’s&nbsp;stories to life using communication design principles, including presentations, graphics, documents, and digital&nbsp;assets.</p> <p class="p1">• Graphic Oversight – Ensure comprehensive project design and aid in execution through consistent coordination&nbsp;with the internal design team, and external design vendors.</p> <p class="p1">• Graphic Production - Follow design systems and champion best practices to produce production-ready designs&nbsp;for digital, print, and retail applications.</p> <p class="p1"><strong>Experience Needed / Our Requirements</strong></p> <p class="p1">• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design.</p> <p class="p1">• Proven ability to apply and perform graphic design skills, including ideation, drawing/sketching, typography, use of&nbsp;colour palettes and texture, and visual presentation development.</p> <p class="p1">• Ability to work across scale in digital, print, and physical spaces, from app icon design to wall murals.</p> <p class="p1">• Ability to showcase ideas and concepts through different mediums from sketching, illustrating, motion, and&nbsp;creating mock-ups.</p> <p class="p1">• Prior experience in brand identity creation and/or experience in the application of the established visual guidelines.</p> <p class="p1">• Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Figma.</p> <p class="p1">• Basic motion and 3D design knowledge are an added advantage.</p> <p class="p1">• Prior experience in environmental graphic design would be an advantage.</p> <p class="p1">• Knowledge of and sensitivity to design trends and industry standards.</p> <p class="p1">• Prior internship or work experience in a similar role would be an advantage.</p> <p>We believe the best work happens when we're together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection.
