(Remote Role)</strong></p> <p>The candidate shall lead a team of talented developers in designing, building, and deploying enterprise-scale applications using a modern Java and Angular technology stack. The candidate will take complete ownership of the end-to-end project lifecycle, from architectural design to post-release support, while mentoring the &nbsp;team and driving technical excellence. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for building robust, scalable software and fostering a collaborative Agile environment.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Team Leadership &amp; Mentorship: Lead, guide, and mentor a team of 5-10+ software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.</li> <li>Technical Ownership: Drive the architectural design and hands-on development of complex, scalable full-stack applications using the Spring Boot and Angular frameworks.</li> <li>End-to-End Delivery: Own the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring.</li> <li>Agile Practice Leadership: Champion and actively participate in all Agile/Scrum ceremonies, facilitate the breakdown of epics into user stories, and collaborate closely with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure sprint goals are met.</li> <li>Code Quality &amp; Best Practices: Enforce software development best practices through rigorous code reviews, advocating for TDD/BDD, and maintaining high standards of code quality using tools like SonarQube.</li> <li>Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a key technical point of contact, effectively communicating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and management to ensure alignment and manage project delivery under tight deadlines.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>10+ years of professional software development experience.</li> <li>Proven track record as a Technical Lead or Team Lead, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-grade applications.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Backend Development (Java): </strong></p> <ul> <li>Deep expertise in Java (8/11/17) and the Spring Boot ecosystem (Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security).</li> <li>Strong, hands-on experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.</li> <li>Proficiency with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of scalability, performance tuning, and distributed systems.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Frontend Development (Angular):</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in modern Angular (12+), TypeScript, RxJS, and state management with NgRx.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience building modular, scalable, and responsive Single-Page Applications (SPAs).</li> <li>Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and experience with modern component libraries.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Database &amp; Persistence:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Advanced skills in RDBMS (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL), including complex SQL and database optimization.</li> <li>Experience with ORM frameworks like Hibernate and JPA.</li> <li>Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) for high-performance scenarios.</li> </ul> <p><strong>DevOps &amp; Cloud Infrastructure:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.</li> <li>Expertise in containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.</li> <li>Practical experience with a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.</li> <li>Familiarity with logging and monitoring stacks like ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Testing &amp; Quality Assurance:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong advocate for Test-Driven Development (TDD) and BDD methodologies.</li> <li>Proficient with unit/integration testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers) and frontend testing tools (Jasmine/Karma, Cypress).</li> </ul> <p><em>ASSYST is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
