Service Technician - DMG North at Ambient

As part of the Ambient Enterprises family of brands, the <strong>DMG North team</strong> consists of experienced industry-leading&nbsp;professionals, focused on logistical, energy and cost-effective solutions to&nbsp;our clients.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>JOB FUNCTION: </strong></span></p> <p>Perform skilled mechanical duties in the startup, repairs, installation, preventive maintenance, and routine servicing of HVAC equipment.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></span>:</p> <ul> <li>&nbsp;On site startup technician for various manufactures</li> <li>&nbsp;Troubleshoot installation of control systems</li> <li>&nbsp;Solving issues using reasoning and logic  Communication with individuals who installed the system</li> <li>&nbsp;Programming of new control system using touchscreens and computers</li> <li>&nbsp;Documentation of actions taken on the job site on service reports  Understanding and reading wiring diagrams during troubleshooting</li> <li>&nbsp;Completing all startup documentation and sending it to be entered for warranty</li> <li>&nbsp;Perform other duties and assignments.</li> <li>&nbsp;Maintain regular good attendance</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: KNOWLEDGE OF</strong></span>:</p> <p>&nbsp; Standard practices of the HVAC trade.</p> <p>&nbsp; Theory of HVAC and refrigeration systems.</p> <p>&nbsp; Computer Usage: Basic data entry and ability to navigate the use of email, internet, word processing programs</p> <p>&nbsp; Materials, methods, and tools used in the operation and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems.</p> <p>&nbsp; Manual and electrical tools and equipment applicable to the HVAC and refrigeration trade.  Brazing and soldering techniques.</p> <p>&nbsp; Health and safety regulations.</p> <p>&nbsp; Basic record-keeping techniques.</p> <p>&nbsp; Proper methods of storing equipment, materials, and supplies.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>&nbsp;EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>&nbsp;High school diploma or G.E.D.
