In this role, you will drive the strategy, development, and deployment of our core predictive models powering our ad buying platform.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">As we continue to scale our proprietary ad-tech infrastructure, you will be the crucial bridge between advanced data science and robust software engineering. You will not only shape the technical roadmap but also act as a dedicated mentor and advocate for a team of highly skilled engineers.</span></p> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What you’ll do</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Manage, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of Machine Learning and Data Engineers. Foster a culture of technical excellence, providing clear career progression paths for all team members.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Define the ML roadmap in alignment with broader product and engineering goals. Translate complex business challenges into scalable, actionable data solutions.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of ML models from robust data pipelining and feature engineering to deployment, monitoring, and iteration in high-volume, low-latency environments.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Partner tightly with Software Development teams, Program Management, and executive leadership.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Bring strong organizational skills to streamline workflows, manage technical debt, ensure data quality, and guarantee the reliable, on-time delivery of data products.</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What success looks like</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Audit existing ML models and data pipelines to build a deep understanding of system behavior, performance drivers, and gaps.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Identify and ship high-impact, production-ready improvements that deliver measurable performance or efficiency gains.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Establish a rigorous, repeatable experimentation and deployment framework to accelerate model iteration and reliability.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Define and execute a phased ML roadmap evolving from heuristic-based systems to advanced predictive models.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strengthen the team through trust-based leadership, skills assessment, targeted hiring, and structured development plans.</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What you’ll bring</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">6+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, with 5+ years specifically in an engineering management role overseeing ML/Data teams.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proven track record of building, deploying, and maintaining models at scale, ideally within ad-tech.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Deep understanding of modern ML frameworks, data architecture, and cloud ecosystems (e.g., Google Cloud Platform). While you won't be coding daily, you need the technical chops to guide architectural decisions and review system designs.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Exceptional communication skills. You must be able to distill and present complex, highly technical ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership effectively.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Genuine passion for team building.
