If you are interested in the opportunity to pursue purposeful work, join a mission-driven team, and build a rewarding career while having fun, Truveta may be the perfect fit for you.  This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer who can design and deliver our critical internal annotation and administrative platforms to enable high-quality data modelling, clinical note annotation and normalization, LLM-based labelling, concept mapping, operational workflows and model evaluation frameworks across the company. We are looking for engineers who enjoy solving complex full stack, i.e., UX, front end, backend and data problems and want to build tools used daily by internal clinical domain and technical experts.  You will work closely with product managers, architects, security teams, and other engineers to build services that power Truveta’s healthcare data platform. As a senior engineer, you will also help shape technical direction, drive engineering best practices, mentor other engineers, and contribute to the long-term reliability, scalability, and maintainability of Truveta’s services.  Responsibilities  <ul> <li>Lead the design, build, and maintain full-stack features for clinical data annotation and internal tooling platforms. </li> <li>Partner with product managers, architects, security teams, and other engineers to define and deliver reliable platform capabilities.  </li> <li>Make sound technical decisions that balance scalability, performance, security, reliability, and delivery speed.  </li> <li>Participate in and lead design reviews, architecture discussions, code reviews, debugging, on-call rotation and production issue resolution.  </li> <li>Implement advanced UI interactions such as text highlighting, tagging, categorization, and review workflows.  </li> <li>Build backend services that support high-quality data modelling, clinical note annotation and normalization, LLM-based labelling, concept mapping, operational workflows and model evaluation frameworks.  </li> <li>Collaborate with ML engineers to translate annotation requirements into scalable solutions for LLM based model development and improve model performance. </li> <li>Optimize UX performance for high-volume data and concurrent users.  </li> <li>Mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, and help improve team practices.  </li> <li>Communicate on the status of various projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure that clinical data projects are successfully executed and delivered. </li> </ul> Required Skills  <ul> <li>Graduate or Masters level educational degree in computer science, data science, clinical informatics, health information management, clinical research, data analysis or related fields.   </li> <li>5+ years of demonstrated professional software development experience, including, </li> <li>Hands-on programming experience with C# and .Net/.Net Core, </li> <li>Front end development experience with React and TypeScript,  </li> <li>State management frameworks such as Redux,  </li> <li>Backend experience using NestJS (Node.js) and/or C#/.NET </li> <li>Familiarity with RESTful API design and modern service architectures.  </li> <li>Strong proficiency in SQL, data structures, at least one statistical programming language (R or Python), familiar with Spark bigdata analytics environments, GenAI tools, for data wrangling, analysis, and reproducible research workflows. </li> <li>Strong understanding of software engineering practices including unit testing, code reviews, debugging, source control, CI/CD, and production service ownership.  </li> <li>Solid understanding of security concepts such as authentication, authorization, secrets management, secure API design, and data protection.  </li> <li>working with customers or research teams to translate their asks into executable analytical code, rigorous quality analytical datasets, deliver high quality research analyses.   </li> <li>Strong hands-on problem-solving skills, troubleshoot and identify data or methodological issues early and communicate them effectively. Have ownership, accountability and reliability mindset. </li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain analytical approaches and findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. </li> <li>Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic start-up environment and a good team-player. </li> <li>Willingness to learn new analytical tools, programming languages, and proprietary platforms used to analyze real-world data. </li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications  These qualifications are preferred but not required, please do not let them stop you from applying for this role. You will likely get the opportunity to learn how to do these more advanced analyses if you don’t already have experience with them.     <ul> <li>Hands-on experience with Azure services.  </li> <li>Experience building scalable services using ASP.NET Core, Web API, or similar frameworks.  </li> <li>Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, queues, messaging, or data pipelines.  </li> <li>Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark.  </li> <li>Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized application deployment.  </li> <li>Experience with observability tools and practices, including logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and service health monitoring.  </li> <li>Experience improving service reliability, performance, scalability, and operational excellence.  </li> <li>Experience working with healthcare, data platforms, analytics platforms, or regulated environments.  </li> <li>Interest in building reliable software that improves healthcare outcomes and helps save lives with data.  </li> <li>Experience working with unstructured clinical data or natural language processing outputs </li> <li>conducting analyses using large healthcare datasets (e.g., electronic health records, clinical notes or other real-world data sources consisting of millions of patients' data.) optimized to handle large volumes of text, structured and unstructured data and complex review workflows. </li> </ul> Why Truveta?     Be a part of building something special.
