This role will own all product management responsibilities for a growing portfolio of assay and reagent products, acting as the product champion to build strategy and roadmap, launch products, and drive business growth.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The Senior Director will lead Product Management with a focus on Consumables and Content Strategy and manage a team of product managers. This position requires strong technical and business acumen and a proven track record of growing businesses.</span></p> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Key Responsibilities</span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Assess market trends, customer needs, and competitors to find growth and product innovation opportunities.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Direct new product introductions (NPI) from concept to launch, including research, requirements, value propositions, transition planning, and training development.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Develop and execute content strategy for consumables portfolio to ensure adoption and differentiation.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Build and maintain KOL networks; coordinate and lead meetings to capture input on assay content and customer requirements.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Become an evangelist for Alamar and present at scientific conferences and customer sites to promote products and thought leadership.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Oversee portfolio supply, demand, revenue, margin, and pricing; provide regular business reviews and forecasts to management, finance, and manufacturing based on a deep understanding of the business.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Required Skills &amp; Qualifications</span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Deep understanding of the proteomics and immunoassay market.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences required; MBA or PhD preferred.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">15–20 years of product management experience, including leadership of teams.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Proven track record and ability to develop business models and grow revenue.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Strong technical and business acumen with experience in life sciences marketing, product management, and market research.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The base salary range for this full-time position is $272,000 - $295,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
