We are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for complex civil, geotechnical, and environmental challenges, guided by our core values of integrity, passion, teamwork, and smart work.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Analyze and diagnose equipment malfunctions.</li> <li>Perform preventative maintenance on company owned and rental fleet.</li> <li>Repair and troubleshoot engines, fuel systems, final drives, hydraulic components, including pumps, motors, valves, and all related components, electrical and air systems.</li> <li>Write service reports that accurately document activities.</li> <li>Prepare required documentation including work orders, parts lists, and timecards in an accurate and timely manner.</li> <li>Follow manufacturer and company service guidelines and procedures to ensure safe quality work and to preserve and document component failure information for accurate failure analysis.</li> <li>Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety procedures, laws, policies, and rules.</li> <li>Communicate with equipment managers and field managers in a manner which promotes a positive relationship.</li> <li>Fabrication, and tool inventory management.</li> <li>Responsible for fueling and greasing equipment and assisting with basic in-house mechanic duties.</li> <li>Knowledge of diesel technology, electronics, transmissions, and hydraulics.</li> <li>Willing to travel; work overtime as needed and within labor law guidelines.</li> <li>Perform additional assignments and special projects as directed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.</li> <li>2-3 years Heavy Equipment Mechanic experience.</li> <li>Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive on behalf of company business.</li> <li>Must be reliable and able to work independently.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>The following safety training is preferred, but not mandatory. Company will provide additional training, as necessary. <ul> <li>Owned tools preferred</li> <li>Competent Person Safety Training</li> <li>First Aid and CPR</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Demands &amp; Work Environment</strong></p> <p>This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, extended standing or walking on project sites, climbing in and out of equipment, and working in confined spaces or at heights. Work conditions and demands may vary, with possible exposure to heavy machinery, chemicals, dust, fumes, noise, and extreme weather. Proper PPE, including protective eyewear, gloves, a hard hat, and steel-toed boots, is required.
