If you're ready to drive change and make history, apply now!</div><h4>What you’ll do</h4> Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: <ul> <li>HV Validation: Design, develop, and maintain electrical component validation processes, specifically for high-voltage wire harnesses and self-sufficient wiring systems. </li> <li>Supplier Development: Oversee supplier manufacturing process development and launch readiness for new products and design changes using APQP and VDA quality management processes. </li> <li>Audit & Compliance: Execute process and product audits to ensure suppliers meet industrialization and performance expectations. </li> <li>Cross-Functional Interface: Facilitate technical requirement understanding between Suppliers and Scout’s Purchasing, Quality, and Design teams to ensure total transparency. </li> <li>Task Force Leadership: Lead technical strategies and project teams to resolve complex quality issues, acting as a Task Force Leader for critical technical topics when necessary. </li> <li>Continuous Improvement: Drive supplier improvements in cost, quality, and manufacturability utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. </li> <li>Responsible for proactive and reactive containment at suppliers. </li> <li>Responsible for ensuring change management occurs and is identified properly and proactively plan for product architecture requests. </li> <li>Responsible for Supplier PPA’s (according VDA Vol.2) and ongoing activities within the supply chain from development to series production. </li> <li>Support NCR resolution. </li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li> </ul> Location & Travel Expectations: <ul> <li>This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, South Carolina.</li> <li>This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events. </li> <li>Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.</li> <li>Travel: Domestic and international travel required, approximately 40-70 % of the time. Valid driver's license required. Here's what else you'll bring:  <ul> <li>Associate's degree in electrical/electronics engineering or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)</li> <li>VDA 6.3 Process Auditing Certification preferred  </li> <li>8+ years of proven experience in Automotive High-Voltage Electrical Systems and High-Voltage Wiring/Harnesses. </li> <li>Advanced Certifications: Product Auditor for Wiring Harnesses preferred  </li> <li>Quality Management Mastery: professional-grade knowledge of AIAG/VDA Core Tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP, MSA) preferred. </li> <li>Understanding of applicable Regulatory & Safety requirements (IATF, VDA, ISO, DIN, etc.)   </li> <li>System Proficiency: Expert level proficiency in systems such as TEVON, BeOn, PPA, ISO 26262 / ASPICE and TRL Audits. </li> <li>Diagnostic Skills: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex issues, debug prototypes, and perform electrical measurements and define rework on high-voltage components. </li> <li>Communication: Strong technical writing ability and the assertiveness to explain complex issues in a concise manner to stakeholders. </li> </ul> <h4>What you'll gain</h4> The benefits of joining Scout include the chance to build products and a company from the ground up.  This is a chance to create something new and lasting – with an iconic brand at its foundation.  In addition, Scout provides competitive compensation and benefits to support your physical, mental, and financial wellbeing. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
