Do you work in the environmental field and have an interest in pursuing a career at a permitted waste facility? As a Senior Environmental Facility Specialist, you will be able to work closely with the Facility Coordinator and be involved with nearly every aspect of facility waste management. This is a unique role that will give you exposure to RCRA and DOT compliance, technical services, transportation, solid disposal coordination, ten-day transfer of hazardous waste and universal waste management. This role is onsite and is based in Orlando, FL. Essential responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Develop the knowledge and experience to manage a permitted facility</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Understand facility permit and local governing agency expectations for waste management</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Assist with general facility compliance including performing daily/weekly/monthly compliance checks, training, SOP implementation/review, and process review</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Assist with general facility operations including serving as management if the facility coordinator is not available</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Consolidate waste according to permits, disposal facility requirements, and customer preferences</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Build Trailer loads for outbound transportation</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Assist with waste determinations/profile management</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Coordinate outbound loads- setting up deliveries, scheduling transporters, etc.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Develop an understanding of OSHA regulations, Triumvirate’s Health and Safety Practices, and EPA regulations</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Demonstrate your supervisory leadership abilities through interaction with coworkers</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Work towards becoming familiar with technical, customer service, and business components of environmental services</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Work with computerized waste tracking systems</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Upon completion of emergency response (ER) training, you will be part of an in-house ER team</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">This position also includes the daily need to lift items that weigh up to 75 pounds</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">This is a safety sensitive position </li> </ul> Basic Requirements: <ul> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">2+ years of industry experience, or relative Military experience</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Prior knowledge, experience, and compliance with DOT, RCRA, and other applicable regulations</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Ability to work as a member of a team as well as individually</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Excellent customer service skills and ability to effectively interact with a broad range of personnel preferred</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Strong communication, problem solving, and relationship building skills</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must have a reliable form of transportation </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)  </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment  </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis  </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Ability to work overtime on a regular basis  </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday)  </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must be able to report to designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts  </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">The Senior Facility Specialist frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment.
