This person will play a key role in building operational infrastructure, supporting accounting and finance functions, managing vendor relationships, overseeing licensing and compliance processes, and helping drive efficiency across the organization.</p> <p>This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, taking ownership, and helping build scalable processes in a fast-paced insurance environment.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversee daily operational and administrative functions of the MGA</li> <li>Manage vendor relationships, onboarding, and ongoing coordination</li> <li>Support agency licensing, carrier appointments, and compliance activities</li> <li>Partner closely with accounting and finance teams on operational processes, reporting, invoicing, and reconciliations</li> <li>Help manage back-office operations and ensure workflows run efficiently</li> <li>Assist with developing and improving operational procedures and documentation</li> <li>Lead and support operational staff and help prioritize team initiatives</li> <li>Coordinate with internal teams including underwriting, accounting, compliance, and leadership</li> <li>Identify operational gaps and recommend process improvements to support growth</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>3–7+ years of insurance operations experience, preferably within an MGA, wholesale brokerage, carrier, or agency environment</li> <li>Strong understanding of insurance operations, licensing, and back-office workflows</li> <li>Experience working closely with accounting and finance teams</li> <li>Proven ability to manage projects, vendors, and operational processes simultaneously</li> <li>Strong organizational skills with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality</li> <li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment</li> <li>Leadership or team management experience preferred</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and insurance systems/platforms</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li>A proactive operator who takes initiative and ownership</li> <li>Someone who can balance strategy with execution</li> <li>Strong communicator who can work across departments</li> <li>Detail-oriented but able to see the bigger picture</li> <li>Team player who thrives in a growth-focused environment</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
