Systems Engineer at GRVTY

<p><strong>What Impact You'll Have</strong></p> <p>Northstrat, a GRVTY company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our Agile development team. The Systems Engineer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and integration a new product that meets customer and technical requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration and operation of complex systems in a fast-paced Agile environment.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>System Design:</strong> Develop and document system architecture, components, and interfaces to meet project requirements.</li> <li><strong>System Interfaces:</strong> Become an expert in the system’s interfaces and identify key integration points</li> <li><strong>Collaboration:</strong> Work closely with the agile product manager and software developers to ensure system designs align with customer and technical objectives.</li> <li><strong>Agile Development:</strong> Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as iteration planning, iteration demos, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to contribute to team goals and objectives.</li> <li><strong>Integration &amp; Testing:</strong> Support the integration system services with external systems</li> <li><strong>Problem Solving:</strong> Diagnose and resolve system issues with comprehensive testing</li> <li><strong>Documentation:</strong> Maintain up-to-date system documentation in confluence, including interface definitions, system diagrams, and mission use cases</li> <li><strong>Continuous Improvement:</strong> Identify opportunities for improving system efficiency and scalability through innovative approaches and tools.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Must Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or another STEM field</li> <li>8-10 years of experience in systems engineering or a related role.</li> <li>Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).</li> <li>Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar).</li> <li>Familiarity with DevOps practices</li> <li>Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Active TS/SCI Clearance and ability to obtain Poly</li> </ul> <p><strong>What Would be Nice to Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Background in Mission Operations</li> <li>Experience with complex system integration activities</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Pay Range:&nbsp;</strong>At GRVTY, we understand that compensation is influenced by many factors—such as geographic location, federal contract labor categories, wage rates, prior experience, skillsets, education, and certifications.&nbsp;We’re proud to offer a work environment that empowers our team to achieve a strong work-life balance.
