<p><strong>ROLE</strong></p> <p>Fixed income execution trader on a discretionary macro portfolio management team focused on mortgage-backed securities, TBAs, and specified pool markets.</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build and enhance tools for analysis of MBS/MBS option and spec pool trading.</li> <li>Execute trades on behalf of PM portfolio across MBS products and hedges (rates/vol).</li> <li>Liaise and build relationships with approved broker dealer counterparts focusing on best execution and liquidity.</li> <li>Potential to grow into an associate PM or systematic quant role.</li> </ul> <p><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.</li> <li>Strong interest in fixed income trading.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Tenacious, detail-orientated, organized, and proactive about potential operational risks.</li> <li>Strong problem solving skills.</li> <li>Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.</li> <li>Exposure to SQL or Python a plus.</li> <li>Commitment to the highest ethical standards.</li> </ul>
