Dreamland Prep Cook at Aviator Nation

<p>Aviator Nation Dreamland Prep Cook is responsible for prepping, cooking and assisting in&nbsp;production of the food to be served. Duties will include prep list, prepping ingredients, washing,&nbsp;cutting and prepping them to the rules of the chef. Maintaining a clean and safe work&nbsp;environment as well as keeping a sanitized work station. Strong knife skills and understanding&nbsp;of health department basics and certificates.</p> <p><br><strong>Main duties will be:</strong><br>-Adhere to all recipes<br>-Prep all raw produce for use<br>-Prep Proteins for use<br>-Prep all sauces for use<br>-Portion food per quantity based on what is ordered.<br>-Assist line cooks with replenishing when needed.<br>-Put away incoming orders</p> <p><br><strong>Skills needed:</strong><br>-Knife skills<br>-Food safety knowledge<br>-Organizational skills<br>-Speed<br>-Able to work under pressure<br>-Ability to stand for long periods of time<br>-Label and date all items prepped and other parishables.<br>-Basic cooking skills.</p> <p><br>The prep cook is an essential part of the kitchen team. It is crucial to know and understand all&nbsp;these duties and to be able to perform them. Being able to handle stressful situations and&nbsp;complete duties are a must. Strong organizational skills and good communication is key. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.
