As an Excess Buyer you will play a crucial role in the Purchasing team, reaching out to potential vendors and bringing excess inventory opportunities to our worldwide Sales Team.  Our goal is to have a sophisticated team equipped with expert technical skills in addition to keen business acumen. Sourceability is committed to a culture where we attract the best talent in the industry.  Insight on your impact: <ul> <li>Develop and grow a strong pipeline of excess inventory suppliers (OEMs, EMS, distributors) within the assigned region. </li> <li>Proactively prospect new vendors through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and industry events. </li> <li>Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with suppliers to secure consistent deal flow. </li> <li>Source, negotiate pricing, and purchase electronic and mechanical components in line with company margin targets. </li> <li>Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring strong communication and follow-up. </li> <li>Maintain and update all supplier, contact, and deal information in the ERP/CRM system. </li> <li>Drive account growth in terms of revenue, gross profit, and engagement level. </li> <li>Identify and execute speculative buys aligned with confirmed or forecasted customer demand (shortage, EOL, and LTB opportunities). </li> <li>Collaborate closely with Sales to match inventory with active demand. </li> <li>Review excess BOMs to identify cost reduction opportunities and margin expansion. </li> <li>Analyze market trends to identify high-value parts, constrained components, and premium brands. </li> <li>Evaluate product applications to expand resale opportunities across multiple customers and industries. </li> <li>Manage purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements in compliance with company policies. </li> <li>Maintain accurate records of goods ordered, received, and in transit. </li> <li>Provide regular updates on pipeline, deals, and vendor activity to management. </li> </ul> Your qualifications, your influence: To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills  <ul> <li>2-4 years of experience in procurement, excess inventory, or semiconductor distribution. </li> <li>Understanding of the electronics supply chain (OEM, EMS, distribution). </li> <li>Ability in vendor prospecting and relationship development. </li> <li>Commercial mindset with strong negotiation and closing skills. </li> <li>Advanced Excel skills (analysis, pricing, data handling). </li> <li>Excellent communication skills (written and verbal English required). </li> <li>Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment. </li> </ul> Preferred skills and technical familiarity: <ul> <li>Adding additional insight, and a growth mindset, will elevate your contribution in this role </li> <li>Existing network within OEMs, EMS providers, or distributors in the assigned region. </li> <li>Experience working with shortage, EOL, or LTB components. </li> <li>Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems. </li> </ul> Benefits: <ul> <li>Grocery vouchers </li> <li>Private health insurance </li> <li>Christmas bonus 30 days </li> <li>English classes  </li> <li>Statutory government benefits </li> </ul>  <div class="content-conclusion">EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.  It is our policy to abide by all federal, state and local laws prohibiting employment discrimination based on a person’s race, color, religious creed, sex, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, pregnancy, childbirth, physical disability, mental and/or intellectual disability, age, military status, veteran status (including protected veterans), marital status, registered domestic partner or civil union status, familial status, gender (including sex stereotyping and gender identity or expression), medical condition (including, but not limited to, cancer related or HIV/AIDS related), genetic information, sexual orientation, or any other protected status. </div>
