<p>We’re looking for a proactive, resourceful, and systems-minded <strong>Workplace Technology Lead</strong> to own the employee technology experience at ShopMy. This role sits at the intersection of People and Technology — ensuring our team has secure, seamless access to the tools, systems, and devices they need to do their best work.</p>
<p>You’ll manage onboarding and offboarding across our tech stack, streamline vendor and contract ownership, support SSO and identity management, and ensure hardware, software, and security standards scale with the company.</p>
<p>As a core member of the People team, you’ll partner closely with People Ops to design and deliver a seamless employee technology experience. This role starts as a hands-on, execution-focused position and evolves into strategic ownership of ShopMy’s workplace technology function as the company scales. It is NYC-based and requires regular in-office presence to support hardware, office setup, and day-to-day execution.</p>

<p><strong>Your Impact to The Role:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li data-start="1840" data-end="2072"><strong data-start="1840" data-end="1871">Account & Access Management</strong>: Own logins, licensing, and SSO/identity management across Google Workspace and other core systems. Manage Slack administration, email domains, and inbox access, including terminations and handoffs.</li>
<li data-start="1840" data-end="2072"><strong data-start="2075" data-end="2108">Tool Onboarding & Offboarding</strong>: Run end-to-end tool provisioning for new hires, including accounts, seat management, and file transfers. Manage company technology plans, hardware procurement and set up, Rippling MDM enrollment, device trade-ins, device repairs and replacement processes. Evaluate tool options, centralize tool vendors and manage ongoing contracts</li>
<li data-start="1840" data-end="2072"><strong data-start="2428" data-end="2474">Systems Implementation & Strategic Support</strong>: Serve as an internal tech-stack expert and tool evaluator. Partner with Engineering to ensure clean integrations and scalable workflows. Support workflow creation, automations, and integrations.</li>
<li data-start="1840" data-end="2072"><strong data-start="2670" data-end="2701">In-Office Equipment & Setup</strong>: Oversee office hardware and infrastructure (WiFi, network security, monitors, peripherals). Track asset inventory for laptops, phones, and accessories. Support internal meetings and events with live troubleshooting.</li>
<li data-start="1840" data-end="2072"><strong data-start="2923" data-end="2962">Troubleshooting & Technical Support</strong>: Serve as the primary point of support for employees on software, hardware, and tool integration issues. Build and maintain a self-service knowledge base and FAQs.</li>
<li data-start="2923" data-end="3123"><strong data-start="3126" data-end="3151">Security & Compliance</strong>: Partner with Engineering to manage device security, endpoint protection audit logging, and develop information security protocols. Own SOC 2 readiness and ongoing compliance from a workplace technology perspective, including control implementation, tooling, and audit partnership. Implement best practices for secure provisioning, data protection, and compromised account monitoring.<br><br></li>

<p><strong>What We Are Looking For:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>5–7 years of experience in IT operations, workplace technology, or people-tech roles.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, SSO/identity tools and MDM solutions </li>
<li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to centralize and document processes across multiple systems.</li>
<li>Experience onboarding and offboarding employees in high-growth environments.</li>
<li>Comfortable managing vendor relationships and tool evaluations.</li>
<li>Security and compliance oriented to enable leveling up of digital security. </li>
<li>High EQ and communication skills — you work cross-functionally with empathy and clarity.</li>
<li>Bias toward action — you can toggle between strategic system design and hands-on troubleshooting.</li>
<li>Excitement around building the workplace technology function from the ground up.</li>
</ul>

<p data-start="4516" data-end="4535"><strong data-start="4516" data-end="4533">Bonus Points:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with SaaS management tools (BetterCloud, Torii, Zylo).</li>
<li>Familiarity with security standards (SOC2, ISO27001, GDPR).</li>
<li>Prior experience in a startup or creator economy environment.</li>
<li>Knowledge of no-code automation tools (Zapier, Workato).</li>
