QA Automation Engineer at OneSpan

<div class="content-intro"><p>At <a href="https://www.onespan.com/about/careers" target="_blank">OneSpan</a>, we specialize in digital identity and anti-fraud solutions that create exceptional and secure experiences.</p></div><p>At OneSpan, we're looking for a hands-on <strong>QA Automation Engineer</strong> to write and maintain automated tests across our iOS and Android SDKs and help grow our automation coverage as the SDKs evolve. You have&nbsp;experience in mobile test frameworks and enough fluency in the SDK code to write and maintain reliable tests — you don't need to be a full iOS or Android app developer. Our Mobile Security Suite (MSS) spans multiple SDKs across iOS, Android, and server-side platforms.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>• Write Automated Tests: Design and implement automated test cases across our iOS and&nbsp;Android SDKs, using XCTest and XCUITest on iOS, and Compose-compatible testing tools on&nbsp;Android.</p> <p>• Build &amp; Maintain Automation: Maintain and extend existing automated test suites and CI&nbsp;pipelines, and build new test coverage as SDKs evolve and new features ship.</p> <p>• Run &amp; Triage Tests: Execute automated test runs using real-device cloud testing tools, and triage&nbsp;and report test failures.</p> <p>• Support the Pipelines: Work with GitLab CI (YAML) pipelines, Bash scripts, and Gradle across&nbsp;our multiple SDK pipelines, making updates and improvements as needed.</p> <p>• Collaborate: Work closely with the automation team, manual QA engineers, and feature&nbsp;developers to keep test coverage current as new features and SDK versions ship.</p> <p>• Document: Keep test case documentation, known issues, and maintenance notes up to date for&nbsp;the team.</p> <p><strong>Required Technical Skills</strong></p> <p>• 3+ years of hands-on experience in mobile test automation (or mobile development moving into&nbsp;test automation).</p> <p>• Mobile test automation in at least one mobile stack — iOS (Swift, XCTest/XCUITest) or Android&nbsp;(Kotlin, Compose Test/Espresso/UI Automator); able to read the SDK code well enough to test it.</p> <p>• CI/CD &amp; Scripting: Familiarity with GitLab CI and YAML pipelines, Bash scripting, and Gradle.</p> <p>• Ability to read, understand, and extend an existing automation framework and test suite.</p> <p>• Git and standard version control workflows.</p> <p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p> <p>• Familiarity with AI coding tools/assistants to speed up test writing and maintenance.</p> <p><span style="color: #000000;">#LI-Onsite<br>#LI-LS1</span></p>
