Tier 1 Systems Administrator at Dark Wolf Solutions

<p><strong>Dark Wolf Solutions </strong>is looking for a<strong> Tier 1 Systems Administrator </strong>to provide support across the company. This position will require on-site support in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Monitoring and maintaining corporate IT infrastructure and tools.</li> <li>Supporting delivery teams with IT requirements, ensuring compliance with corporate protocols.</li> <li>Upgrading, installing, and configuring new hardware and software to meet corporate objectives.</li> <li>Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.</li> <li>Creating and managing user accounts and performing access control.</li> <li>Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.&nbsp;</li> <li>Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data.</li> <li>Endpoint hardware and software troubleshooting.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven customer service experience</li> <li>Working knowledge of software engineering concepts, principles, and theories</li> <li>Working knowledge of the software development process</li> <li>Proven ability to grasp and apply new information quickly</li> <li>Strong desire to grow in a DevOps environment</li> <li>Shows initiative on assignments, and professionally executes projects with little direction</li> <li>Ability to handle ever increasing responsibility and assignments with growing complexity</li> <li>Work as an integral part of a team and thrive in collaborative environments</li> <li>Thrives in team success, meeting and exceeding personal and team commitments&nbsp;</li> <li>Working knowledge of software tools supporting Integrated Development Environments (IDE), version control, defect reporting and scripting</li> <li>Ability to be creative, innovative and responsible, and able to master good decision-making skills</li> <li>Ability to learn and apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Ability to recognize and clearly report relevant information</li> <li>Experience with Linux, Windows, or macOS</li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong>US Citizenship and clearable to a Top Secret security clearance or higher</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>CompTIA Security+</li> <li>Tier 1 help desk experience</li> <li>Working knowledge of Jira, development tools/environments</li> <li>Experience safely updating and patching libraries and applications</li> <li>Experience addressing issues in Apache and application logs</li> <li>Experience using Bash, Python, or Google Web Toolkit (GWT)</li> <li>Building and maintaining security-complaint systems</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience</li> </ul> <p>The estimated salary range for this role is $55,000.00 - $65,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.&nbsp;</p> <p>We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories.</p> <p>In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.<br><br></p>
