About the Role

<p></p> <div> <h1><strong>Pharmacy Liaison / Pharmacy Technician (Specialty Pharmacy)</strong></h1> <h2><strong>Job Purpose</strong></h2> <p>We are seeking a <strong>highly motivated Pharmacy Technician / Pharmacy Liaison</strong> to join a fast-growing leader in <strong>specialty pharmacy management services</strong>. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic healthcare environment and is passionate about delivering <strong>exceptional patient care</strong>.</p> <p>The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, empathetic, and capable of building strong relationships with <strong>patients, clinicians, and internal teams</strong>. You will play a key role in supporting medication adherence and improving patient outcomes through a <strong>hands-on, patient-centered approach</strong>.</p> <p>This is a <strong>clinic-based role</strong>, requiring seamless collaboration with physicians, nurses, and care teams to deliver integrated pharmacy services.</p> <hr> <h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Patient Care &amp; Engagement</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Deliver <strong>world-class (“legendary”) patient care</strong> through comprehensive medication management services</li> <li>Support patients throughout the <strong>full continuum of care</strong>, including medication adherence and therapy management</li> <li>Conduct <strong>outbound adherence calls</strong>, refill coordination, and follow-ups</li> <li>Educate patients on pharmacy services and benefits to improve engagement and outcomes</li> <li>Provide support both <strong>in-person and over the phone</strong></li> </ul> <h3><strong>Clinic &amp; Team Collaboration</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Work closely with <strong>physicians, nurses, and clinic staff</strong> as part of an integrated care team</li> <li>Act as a liaison between the clinic and the <strong>centralized Patient Service Center</strong></li> <li>Communicate key reports (refill, zero-fill, outstanding, appointment lists)</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Operations &amp; Workflow Management</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Support <strong>specialty and retail prescription workflows</strong></li> <li>Identify medications requiring special handling (e.g., refrigerated, hazardous drugs)</li> <li>Ensure availability of necessary supplies (e.g., syringes, sharps containers, etc.)</li> <li>Maintain accurate documentation across systems and databases</li> <li>Assist with <strong>process improvements</strong> to enhance efficiency and patient care delivery</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Insurance &amp; Financial Support</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Resolve <strong>insurance issues</strong>, including prior authorizations (PAs)</li> <li>Assist patients in accessing <strong>financial assistance programs</strong></li> </ul> <h3><strong>Continuous Improvement</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Identify trends and recommend operational improvements</li> <li>Participate in <strong>quality and performance initiatives</strong></li> <li>Stay current with industry knowledge and best practices</li> </ul> <hr> <h2><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED</li> <li><strong>2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience</strong></li> </ul> <h3><strong>Preferred</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>3–5 years of experience</strong> in pharmacy or specialty pharmacy settings</li> </ul> <hr> <h2><strong>Licensure &amp;
