You won't just use AI to write code — you'll shape the agentic workflows, build reusable skills, and engineer the context that makes every team member (human and agent) more effective.</p> <p>Our products are used directly by advertisers and media buyers and are deeply integrated into the AdTech ecosystem, connecting with major DSPs, SSPs and streaming publishers.</p> <h1><span style="font-size: 12pt;">What You Will Do</span></h1> <ul> <li>Build and maintain data pipelines using Airflow, Airbyte, Kafka, and dbt that move billions of records across data platforms</li> <li>Design and develop backend services with Python and FastAPI that power content intelligence and reporting dashboards</li> <li>Work within an agentic development process — use Claude Code daily, create and maintain CLAUDE.md context files, develop reusable skills, and orchestrate multi-agent workflows to accelerate delivery</li> <li>Review AI-generated code, manage agent context, ensure quality across human and agent-produced changes, and continuously improve team tooling and workflows</li> <li>Collaborate in a cross-functional team to design, build, test, and ship features end-to-end — from data ingestion through to customer-facing dashboards</li> <li>Investigate system issues, debug production incidents, and maintain operational excellence across our GCP-based infrastructure</li> </ul> <h1><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Basic Qualifications</span></h1> <ul> <li>5-7+ years of professional software development experience</li> <li>Strong programming skills in Python</li> <li>Deep experience with data warehouses and analytical databases (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar)</li> <li>Experience building and maintaining data pipelines with tools like Airflow, dbt, or similar orchestration frameworks</li> <li>Experience with event streaming technologies such as Kafka</li> <li>Proficient across the full development lifecycle: coding, reviews, source control, testing, CI/CD, and operations</li> <li>Comfort working with AI coding tools — you should be an effective user of agentic development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or similar, and excited about pushing the boundaries of how AI transforms the engineering workflow</li> <li>Collaborative, resourceful, and quality-driven with a bias toward engineering excellence</li> <li>Solid understanding of scalable, distributed system design principles</li> </ul> <h1><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Preferred Qualifications</span></h1> <ul> <li>Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP (BigQuery, GKE, GCS)</li> <li>Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes</li> <li>Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs (FastAPI preferred)</li> <li>Understanding of ad serving technologies, programmatic advertising or ad verification</li> <li>Experience in the streaming TV or CTV advertising space</li> <li>Track record of building internal developer tools, CI/CD improvements, or workflow automation that multiply team productivity</li> </ul> <h1><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>This position is full-time and located in our New York City headquarters offices offering a hybrid work model from office and remote.<br></strong></span></h1> <p style="text-align: justify;">The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $111,000.00 - $222,000.00. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.
