Join us to be a part of this transformative journey, where your impact will shape the future of technology and production.</div><h2>Purpose</h2> As Designer II, this role drives the development and delivery of compelling visual experiences across the Divergent brand, including digital, print, presentation, and experiential platforms. This role will lead the creative process from concept through production, translating complex ideas into visually engaging assets that inspire, educate, and elevate the brand.  The ideal candidate combines strong design fundamentals with strategic thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Communications, Video, and Product/Engineering teams, to ensure cohesive and high-quality visual storytelling across all touchpoints. <h2>The Role</h2> <ul> <li>Lead the creative development and execution of design projects across social, presentation, and experiential mediums including event presence and facility design  </li> <li>Partner closely with Communications, Content, and Product/Engineering teams to produce compelling branded assets for both internal and external audiences  </li> <li>Own projects from initial concept through final execution, ensuring creative excellence and production accuracy  </li> <li>Sketch, storyboard, ideate, and develop original concepts based on stakeholder direction, research, and creative exploration  </li> <li>Maintain and evolve the visual identity and aesthetic standards of the brand across all media  </li> <li>Manage multiple concurrent projects ranging from quick-turn design requests to large-scale print-ready campaigns and presentations  </li> <li>Art direct and produce layouts, graphics, iconography, motion assets, and visual systems that communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively  </li> <li>Collaborate with product designers to support integrated product and brand experiences  </li> <li>Ensure visual quality assurance standards for file preparation, image sizing, color accuracy, formatting, and final deliverables  </li> <li>Support the creation of executive-level presentations in PowerPoint  </li> <li>Organize and maintain design assets, templates, and production files for efficient team collaboration</li> </ul> <h2>Basic Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls </li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art, or related field  </li> <li>4+ years of professional experience in design, illustration, or related field </li> <li data-leveltext="" industrial design, or product-focused environment  </li> <li>Familiarity working alongside industrial designers or physical product development teams  </li> <li>Advanced proficiency with Figma and PowerPoint </li> <li>Experience creating motion graphics, animations, and dynamic visual interactions  </li> <li>Expertise in typography, layout systems, color theory, and visual storytelling  </li> <li>Experience creating and optimizing digital assets for web, and presentations  </li> <li>Knowledge of print production processes, printer specifications, and color management  </li> <li>Experience with image retouching, manipulation, color correction, and production optimization  </li> <li>Ability to create 2D assets, iconography, illustrations, and branded visual systems  </li> <li>Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative design solutions  </li> <li>Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills  </li> <li>Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously  </li> <li>Resourceful, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in an evolving, high-performance environment  </li> <li>A refined design sensibility and obsessive attention to detail  </li> <li>A strong understanding of how brand systems scale across media and creating visually compelling work that communicates with clarity and impact </li> <li>Experience in automotive, aerospace, hard-tech, robotics, manufacturing, consumer electronics, or other technology-driven industries  </li> <li>Strong understanding of social-first storytelling, short-form video ecosystems, and platform-native creative execution  </li> <li>Experience collaborating with cross functional partners, including product and engineering teams</li> <li>Passion for emerging storytelling formats, evolving creative technologies, and innovative media workflows  </li> </ul> <h2>Compensation</h2> At Divergent, our pay range is based on the level of the job.
