Makes periodic checks to assure conformance to specifications. </li> <li>Refers problems to set-up person or supervisor.</li> <li>Reports machine malfunctions, defective materials, or other unusual conditions.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Moves average weight material (over 25 lbs. and up to 60 lbs.) as necessary in the performance of job.</li> <li>Maintains production records.</li> <li>Maintains work area in a neat, clean and orderly condition and observes all safety regulations and practices.</li> <li>Performs other duties as assigned or directed.</li> </ul> Qualifications Required: <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Must have at least 1-3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment as a CNC machine operator</li> <li>Requires the use of drawings, specifications, set-up sheets and adjustable measuring instruments; requiring basic skills knowledge.</li> <li>Ability to navigate multiple windows in company Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) system to access production and technical resource data.</li> <li>Ability to frequently lift or move material weighing over 25 lbs. and up to 60 lbs.</li> <li>Aptitude to follow verbal and written instructions.</li> <li>Ability to read and follow written procedures and use of drawings and specifications where some interpretation is required.</li> <li>Knowledge of basic math, including decimals and fractions.</li> <li>Experience using variety of power tools and material handling equipment.</li> </ul> Work Environment The CNC Machine Operator will work primarily in a production setting where safety equipment or personal protective gear is required.
