Grains and Oilseeds Analyst at Jane Street

<h3>About the Position</h3> <p>We are looking to hire an experienced Grains and Oilseeds Analyst to collaborate closely with our Trading team to build comprehensive supply/demand models for major agricultural markets, develop granular balance sheet analytics, and generate actionable trading insights in corn, soybeans, wheat, and other key agricultural commodities.</p> <h3>About You</h3> <ul> <li>Have 3+ years of analyst experience in agricultural commodities, grains, or related commodity markets</li> <li>Strong quantitative modeler with experience in supply/demand fundamentals analysis</li> <li>Have a deep understanding of agricultural market seasonality, production cycles, and trade flows</li> <li>Highly analytical thinker with proficiency in statistical modeling and scenario analysis</li> <li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative trading environment</li> <li>Strong communicator with the ability to translate complex analysis into actionable insights</li> <li>Coding skills are preferred</li> <li>Experience with version control and API development is a plus</li> </ul> <p><em>If you're a recruiting agency and want to partner with us, please reach out to </em><em>[email protected]</em><em>.&nbsp;</em></p>
