This is a high-impact role where you’ll work on critical projects that drive platform scalability, optimize performance, and improve system reliability for a global customer base. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies while solving complex challenges. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring 6sense delivers seamless customer experiences. What will you own : <ul> <li>Build Scalable Systems: Design, develop, and maintain APIs and microservices capable of processing millions of daily data requests and emails.</li> <li>Optimize Performance: Enhance system reliability and ensure low-latency, high-availability services by leveraging Redis and other caching solutions.</li> <li>Focus on Email Deliverability: Work on improving email systems and protocols (e.g., SMTP) to ensure high deliverability rates.</li> <li>Drive Innovation: Partner with product, design, and frontend teams to develop new features and enhance existing functionalities.</li> <li>Cloud and Infrastructure: Collaborate with DevOps to implement best practices in CI/CD pipelines and AWS infrastructure.</li> <li>Contribute to Architecture: Participate in decisions about system architecture, tool adoption, and technology innovation.</li> <li>Leverage generative AI and AI coding tools to accelerate developer productivity, engineering workflows, and automation of repetitive tasks</li> </ul> <div>Technologies You’ll Work With :</div> <ul> <li>Python / Ruby on Rails</li> <li>PostgreSQL</li> <li>Redis</li> <li>SingleStore</li> <li>AWS (ECS, RDS, Kinesis, Lambda, Terraform)</li> </ul> <div>What We’re Looking For :  Experience :</div> <ul> <li>5+ years of professional backend development experience, with a focus on scalable systems.</li> <li>Hands-on expertise with Redis, PostgreSQL, and AWS.</li> <li>Familiarity with email protocols (e.g., SMTP) and strategies for improving deliverability.</li> <li>Understanding of AI-native software development practices, including automated code generation, AI-driven testing, and human-in-the-loop review systems</li> <li>Proven ability to adopt and drive modern engineering paradigms, particularly integrating AI into development workflows to improve productivity, quality, and delivery speed</li> </ul> <div>Technical Skills :</div> <ul> <li>Proficiency in backend frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Python, or Node.js.</li> <li>Strong understanding of microservices architecture and API design.</li> <li>Experience with cloud services (AWS) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).</li> </ul> <div>Soft Skills :</div> <ul> <li>Strong problem-solving ability and debugging skills.</li> <li>Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.</li> <li>A growth mindset with a passion for learning new technologies.</li> </ul> <div>Bonus Points :</div> <ul> <li>Experience with SingleStore or similar databases.</li> <li>Knowledge of distributed systems or TDD practices.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion">Our Benefits:  Full-time employees can take advantage of health coverage, paid parental leave, generous paid time-off and holidays, quarterly self-care days off, and stock options.
