You'll have an option to join Employee Resource Groups, DEI initiatives, and altruism efforts to bring positive societal impact.</li> </ul> About the role: As a Senior Analytics Implementation Specialist, you understand a client’s business and marketing requirements for digital measurement and translate them into sophisticated guides to help IT and development teams strategically implement enterprise-wide digital analytics and tag management solutions.  This involves consulting IT departments and senior executive stakeholders, guiding them through implementation recommendations, performing exacting quality assurance on implementations, and providing training and ongoing services for their long term success.  Versatile and curious, you understand what technical rigour really looks like, but you’re driven by the value you create. You welcome collaboration with analysts, account executives and project managers alike to develop end-to-end solutions for our customers.  You engage in continuous professional development to evolve your craft, and are as happy to share what you learn with the rest of the team as you are to learn from them. Primary Responsibilities:  <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Stay up to date with industry trends and technology developments.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform client-facing tasks such as presenting insights or providing training.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with a cross-functional team to foster data-driven strategy and execution.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Deploy web and app measurement tools, such as Google Analytics.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Provide support on analytics and implementation for Napkyn analysts with root-cause analysis of issues and interruptions in measurement for our clients.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Provide recommendations on adoption of new tools and features as appropriate to client needs.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Serve as a resource for the latest trends and technologies within the digital analytics space.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist in improving the usability, efficiency, and overall effectiveness of our clients’ digital analytics tooling deployments.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist in evaluating the size and scope of customer problems as well as helping to determine a successful resolution.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Lead the team with site-wide audits of existing analytics implementations against web and app measurement best practices and create implementation recommendations for improvement.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop app and web measurement best practices and on-site technology requirements to generate high quality, easily-understood implementation guides for on-site deployments of Google Analytics.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Engage business and technical team stakeholders for feedback and validation.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Actively focus on the future-proofing, scalability, and ease of maintenance in all solutions.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Provide recommendations on adoption of new tools and features as appropriate to the client’s needs.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Participate in user testing with the internal team to ensure that components meet requirements for functionality and ease of use.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop and maintain an understanding of automation capabilities within the digital analytics platforms, tag managers and related software employed by the Data Solutions team.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Identify and contribute to the design of new internal tools and capabilities on the product roadmap, representing the Data Solutions team.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop an understanding of the deployment infrastructure behind Napkyn’s toolchain and contribute to its ongoing maintenance.</li> </ul> Required Skills & Experience:  <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Proficient in reading and writing JavaScript, in the context of both analytics deployments and web-based user interfaces.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">A strong understanding of web technologies, in general.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with tag management systems such as Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Adobe Launch, etc.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with server-side tag management.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with ecommerce implementation for Google Analytics.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with Quality Assurance processes in digital analytics and app development.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to effectively communicate with developers internally and in client organizations.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong writing and communication skills.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Team player, supportive of a collaborative team environment and culture.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to prioritize projects and handle multiple tasks efficiently.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Comfort with or interest in presenting and speaking in front of small groups, most importantly in client meetings.</li> </ul> Preferred Skills & Experience:  As technology evolves rapidly, the field of digital analytics has broadened. Our implementation specialists are expected to build a widening range of skills through their work. Upon joining, a senior implementation specialist should have some of the following skills, knowledge or experience: <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with deploying and testing analytics tools in mobile apps for iOS and Android devices, especially using the Firebase SDK.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with development environments, tools and processes for building software.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Certification in one or more Google Marketing Platform products.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Competency writing code in JavaScript, Python, Kotlin, Swift, Java or similar programming languages, in the context of web development, app development, or task automation.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with Firebase app development or Google Cloud Platform more broadly.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with product development or DevOps processes.</li> </ul> Reporting directly to: Director, Data Solutions Location: Remote - based in Canada Napkyn  welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.  Accommodations are available upon request for applicants in all aspects of the selection process.
