You will be working in a fast-paced environment, on multiple projects, and will be a part of a rapidly growing company to make a difference in life science research and early disease diagnosis.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities</u></strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Apply laboratory skills and experience to generate high-quality data in developing new technologies and in developing new biomarker assays.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Maintain accurate records of work performed including reagents, methodology, and results.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Perform data analysis and report results, and detailed data organization.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">High-throughput manual and automated experiment execution, instrument operation</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Examine the impacts of multiple variables on assay performance and perform troubleshooting as needed.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Support in-house engineers to integrate and adapt different assay workflows onto Alamar’s proprietary instrument platform.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Cross-functional collaboration across different teams to enable technology and product advancement</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>BS/MS in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or a related field, </strong>with relevant industry experience (2+ for BS, 1+ for MS).</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience </strong>performing ELISA, qPCR, or similar assays, including data generation, analysis, and review.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Proven ability to<strong> follow SOPs</strong>, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure high-quality experimental records.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>Strong organizational skills</strong>;<strong> </strong>prior experience with lab operations or inventory management is a plus.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>Strong attention to detail, </strong>organization skills, and commitment to data quality<strong> </strong></span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">A positive,<strong> self</strong><strong>‑</strong><strong>motivated attitude </strong>with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple complex tasks or projects simultaneously.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Ability to handle biofluid samples a plus</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>Strong communication skills </strong>and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>Experience with automated lab equipments </strong>or high throughput assay workflows</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Familiarity with<strong> data analysis tools such as R and JMP</strong>.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 - $100,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
