<p><strong>DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Supports the development of documents defining product, product assembly, and packaging of retail finished goods.</li>
<li>Review capability of partner quality management system to assess product safety, compliance and quality risks.</li>
<li>Provides technical or mechanical support to internal and external teams to ensure products are manufactured and packaged in accordance to specifications.</li>
<li>Conducts production part performance evaluations following internal and industrial test standards. Provides engineering solutions based on test result analysis.</li>
<li>Performs root cause analysis in response to nonconformance. Designs corrective actions and solutions to reduce defects with minimal cost.</li>
<li>Designs, tests and implements tools to support production operations.</li>
<li>Supports management of Nintendo of America Inc. (NOA) Corrective Action Request (CAR) initiatives.</li>
<li>Provides input and recommendations for design validation testing to qualify new components and packaging materials.</li>
<li>May rely on experience with fabrication processes, equipment, and materials to tailor designs to achieve the most practical balance of quality, speed, and cost.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>3 or more years of related engineering experience.</li>
<li>Working experience within an ISO-9001 environment preferred.</li>
<li>Working experience with exposure from product specification through to production phase preferred.</li>
<li>Operational and theoretical knowledge of environmental, vibration, compression and impact stress testing methodologies preferred.</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of packaging materials and associated performance testing protocols (Nintendo Standards, ISTA).</li>
<li>Electronics testing experience preferred.</li>
<li>Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.</li>
<li>ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification preferred.</li>
<li>Valid passport required.</li>

<p>This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.</p>
