Software Development Manager, Compliance and Multi-Region at MaintainX

MaintainX powers operational excellence for 12,000 businesses including Duracell, Univar Solutions Inc., Titan America, McDonald's, Brenntag, Cintas, Xylem, and Shell.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">We recently completed a $150 million Series D funding round, bringing our total funding to $254 million and valuing the company at $2.5 billion.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">We are seeking an <strong>Software Development Manager to lead our compliance and multi-region environments</strong>, starting with our FedRAMP-authorized AWS GovCloud environment. This team is responsible for building and operating the foundations that allow MaintainX to run securely and reliably across <strong>regulated environments and regions around the world</strong>, including both <strong>single-tenant and multi-tenant architectures</strong>, while remaining closely aligned with our core commercial SaaS architecture.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">This role sits at the intersection of <strong>platform software development, infrastructure, security, and product delivery</strong>. You'll lead a team that turns complex regulatory and regional requirements into scalable, repeatable patterns that enable global product delivery.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <hr> <h3><span style="font-size: 10pt;">What You’ll Do:</span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Lead and manage a software development team</strong> focused on compliance environments and multi-region enablement, including hiring, onboarding, and career development.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Own delivery and operational outcomes</strong> for MaintainX’s regulated and regional deployments, starting with FedRAMP and expanding to additional regions and compliance frameworks over time.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Drive the technical and execution strategy for multi-region deployments</strong>, ensuring services can be deployed consistently and safely in any supported region.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Partner closely with Security, Compliance, Product, and Commercial Software Development</strong>&nbsp;to meet regulatory requirements while minimizing architectural drift from our core SaaS platform.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Guide technical direction and architectural decisions</strong> for infrastructure, CI/CD workflows, and deployment patterns, providing context and guardrails rather than day-to-day implementation.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Drive planning, prioritization, and execution</strong> for cross-functional initiatives, including audits, regional launches, platform investments, and customer-facing releases.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Advocate for shift-left practices</strong> that improve developer experience and release confidence in high-compliance and multi-region environments.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Ensure operational excellence</strong>, including incident response readiness, change management, documentation quality, and audit preparedness.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Communicate roadmap, progress, risks, and tradeoffs</strong> clearly to Software Development leadership and non-technical stakeholders.</span></li> </ul> <h3><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">About You:</span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience leading Software Development teams responsible for <strong>platform, infrastructure, or compliance-critical systems</strong>.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong technical background in <strong>cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and modern application architectures</strong>, with the ability to guide multi-region design decisions.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Proven ability to deliver in <strong>regulated environments</strong> such as FedRAMP, SOC2, HIPAA, or similar frameworks.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Track record of <strong>cross-functional leadership</strong> across security, compliance, and product teams.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Comfortable operating in ambiguous problem spaces and scaling solutions beyond their initial use case.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Clear communicator who can translate complex technical and regulatory constraints into actionable plans.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Passion for growing engineers through with <strong>AWS GovCloud</strong> and global multi-region deployments.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience designing or operating <strong>region-agnostic platforms</strong> and deployment pipelines.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Familiarity with <strong>infrastructure-as-code</strong> tools such as Terraform and environment management frameworks like Atmos.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience supporting audits or working directly with
