This position is based on a <strong><em>1-year contract with the potential for extension</em></strong>. This is a dynamic opportunity to make a meaningful impact by driving safety culture and compliance.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">As a Walkaround Program Specialist, you will audit, standardize, and manage equipment walkaround processes while supporting TPM initiatives and digital tool implementation to improve operational efficiency, documentation accuracy, and shop floor compliance.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></span><br><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong><em>In this role, you will:</em></strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Audit all manufacturing equipment and validate current A, B, and C criticality classifications; update and recategorize as needed.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Update, standardize, and replace all walkaround documents for A and B equipment across J and K buildings.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Ensure strict adherence to document control procedures, including maintaining current revisions in shared systems, posting accurate documentation at machines, and removing obsolete versions from the production floor.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Verify that walkaround binders are present and properly maintained at each machine, including up-to-date paper copies of required tracking tools.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Update and install visual management materials, including step-by-step instruction stickers and equipment classification labels (CAT A, B, C).</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Prepare and organize electronic versions of walkaround documentation to support digital system integration.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Learn and support implementation of the Digital DWA (Digital Walkaround Application) tool, partnering with Digital Transformation (DT) teams to deploy within the HSMC-S environment.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Conduct time studies in collaboration with Operations and working leads to validate and optimize digital walkaround processes.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Provide ongoing support to the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program, contributing to continuous improvement and standardization initiatives.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>SKILLS/EXPERIENCE<br><em>Minimum Skills and Requirements:</em></strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">3–6 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, or continuous improvement environments.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Working knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or similar methodologies.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience with document control and maintaining revision-controlled work instructions.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Ability to conduct time studies and analyze processes to support operational improvements.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Strong attention to detail with a focus on standardization, accuracy, and compliance.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Proficiency in Microsoft Office and managing digital documentation.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong><em>Preferred Skills:</em></strong></span></p>

<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience supporting or implementing digital manufacturing tools or shop floor applications.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Familiarity with equipment criticality classifications (e.g., A/B/C systems).</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience working in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Exposure to visual management systems (labels, standard work displays, point-of-use documentation).</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Knowledge of CMMS, MES, or other manufacturing systems.</span></li>
