For more information, please visit <a href="https://www.chaosinc.com">www.chaosinc.com</a>. <h3>Role Overview</h3> We are seeking a detail-oriented Global Mobility Specialist to manage and support the end-to-end relocation and international assignment process for our employees. This role ensures compliance with immigration, tax, and employment regulations across multiple jurisdictions while delivering a smooth, positive experience for relocating employees and their families.  <h4>Responsibilities</h4> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Coordinate international and domestic relocations, including visa and work permit applications, immigration compliance, and assignment documentation </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Serve as the primary point of contact for employees on international assignment, addressing questions about relocation policy, benefits, and logistics </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Partner with external immigration counsel, relocation vendors, and tax advisors to manage cases from initiation through completion </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Track assignment timelines, visa expirations, and renewal deadlines to ensure continuous compliance </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Administer relocation benefits (housing, shipping, schooling, tax equalization/protection) in line with company policy </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintain accurate records in the global mobility case management system and produce regular status reports for HR and business stakeholders </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Advise HR business partners and hiring managers on mobility policy, cost estimates, and feasibility for proposed international moves </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Stay current on changes to immigration law, tax treaties, and social security agreements in key countries of operation </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Support cost projections and budget tracking for assignments, including tax gross-up calculations </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Identify process improvements and contribute to updates of mobility policies and procedures </li> </ul> <h4>Required Qualifications</h4> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">2–4 years of experience in global mobility, immigration, HR, or relocation services </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Working knowledge of visa/immigration processes and compliance requirements for at least one major region (e.g., US, EU, APAC) </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a service-oriented approach to supporting employees </li> </ul> <h4>Preferred Qualifications</h4> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience working with third-party immigration law firms or relocation management companies (RMCs) </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with tax equalization/protection concepts for international assignees </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Global Mobility certification (e.g., GMS from Worldwide ERC) is a plus </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience supporting assignments across multiple regions/time zones </li> </ul> Skills  <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Cross-cultural sensitivity and discretion in handling confidential employee information </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Problem-solving mindset for navigating ambiguous or complex cross-border cases </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Vendor and stakeholder management </li> </ul> Why CHAOS? <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision benefits 100% paid for by the company</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Additional benefits: 401k (+ 50% company match up to 6% of pay), FSA, HSA, life insurance, and more</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Our Perks: Free daily lunch, ‘No meeting Fridays’, unlimited PTO, casual dress code</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Compensation Components: Competitive base salaries, generous pre-IPO stock option grants, relocation assistance, and (coming soon!) annual bonuses</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Team Growth: 350 employees and counting across 5 global offices</li> </ul> <div>Salary Range: $110,000 -$165,000 </div> The stated compensation range reflects only the targeted base compensation range and excludes additional earnings such as bonus, equity, and benefits.
