Regulatory Compliance and Updates</span></p> <ul> <li>Stay up-to-date with changes in customs laws and regulations, advising internal teams on any impact to operations.</li> <li>Conduct regular audits of shipping and customs procedures, implementing corrective actions when necessary to maintain compliance.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">2. Customs Documentation and Compliance</span></p> <ul> <li>Perform tariff classification and ensure correct customs documentation for all imports and exports.</li> <li>Submit necessary import/export permits via TradeNet/Crimsonlogic and liaise with customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate customs clearance.</li> <li>Manage the application of Strategic Goods permits for dual-use products.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">3. Shipment Handling and Packaging</span></p> <ul> <li>Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are properly packaged, labelled, and ready for dispatch according to company and regulatory standards.</li> <li>Coordinate with warehouse staff to manage the physical handling of goods, ensuring safe and secure packaging of products.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">4. Collaboration with Internal and External Teams</span></p> <ul> <li>Work closely with logistics, finance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and compliance with customs requirements.</li> <li>Collaborate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other third-party service providers to ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">5. Shipping Tracking and Monitoring</span></p> <ul> <li>Track all shipments from initiation to delivery, resolving any issues or delays promptly.</li> <li>Ensure proper record-keeping of shipping documentation and GST permits for monthly submissions and claims.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">6. Customs-related Audits and Record Keeping</span></p> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate and updated records of all customs-related activities and documentation, ensuring proper audit trails.</li> <li>Perform regular internal audits to identify areas of improvement in customs processes and work on corrective actions.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">7.
