Guided by its mission to Make People and Nature Healthier Through Biotechnology, and its role as a well-recognized biotechnology company, GenScript has a team of approximately 6,165 employees and has served more than 200,000 customers across over 100 countries and regions.</span></p></div><p><strong><span class="fontstyle0">Key Responsibilities:</span></strong></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Regulatory Compliance and Updates&nbsp;</span></p> <ul> <li>Stay up-to-date with changes in customs laws and regulations, advising internal teams on any impact to operations.</li> <li>Conduct regular audits of shipping and customs procedures, implementing corrective actions when necessary to maintain compliance.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Customs Documentation and Compliance </span></p> <ul> <li>Perform tariff classification and ensure correct customs documentation for all imports and exports.</li> <li>Submit necessary import/export permits via TradeNet/Crimsonlogic and liaise with customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate customs clearance.&nbsp;</li> <li>Manage the application of Strategic Goods permits for dual-use products.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Shipment Handling and Packaging</span>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are properly packaged, labelled, and ready for dispatch according to company and regulatory standards.</li> <li>Coordinate with warehouse staff to manage the physical handling of goods, ensuring safe and secure packaging of products.&nbsp;</li> <li>Collaboration with Internal and External Teams</li> <li>Work closely with logistics, finance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and compliance with customs requirements.</li> <li>Collaborate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other third-party service providers to ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Shipping Tracking and Monitoring</span></p> <ul> <li>Track all shipments from initiation to delivery, resolving any issues or delays promptly.</li> <li>Ensure proper record-keeping of shipping documentation and GST permits for monthly submissions and claims.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Customs-related Audits and Record Keeping </span></p> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate and updated records of all customs-related activities and documentation, ensuring proper audit trails.</li> <li>Perform regular internal audits to identify areas of improvement in customs processes and work on corrective actions.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Cost Management</span></p> <ul> <li>Review of freight cost, packing material cost and all cost related to Logistic&nbsp;</li> <li>Cost tracking, Uploading and Analysis</li> <li>Vendor Billing Management</li> <li>Freight cost uploading into system</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Ad-hoc Tasks</span></p> <ul> <li>Any other tasks or project assigned by superior</li> </ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Degree with major in Supply Chain or other Business-related studies</li> <li>Having SC401 customs declarant certification is a plus • 3-5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, and customs affairs or related fields, are considered.</li> <li>Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers is preferred.</li> <li>Experience in handling import/export shipments, packaging, and customs clearance.</li> <li>Familiarity with TradeNet/Crimsonlogic platforms for permit applications.</li> <li>Demonstrated strong communication and negotiation skills, with solid data analysis capabilities to support decision-making.</li> <li>Fluent in English and Mandarin, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-border teams, particularly with stakeholders in China.</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with strong capability in data handling, reporting, and presentation.</li> <li>A collaborative team player with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset;
