This is a full-time, in-person position.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage the design process for Mission Critical projects, coordinating teams and deliverables.</li> <li>Interpret electrical drawings and specifications; apply National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.</li> <li>Oversee cross-discipline design reviews and ensure quality for MEP disciplines.</li> <li>Address design and engineering challenges during design and construction phases.</li> <li>Develop integrated electrical room concepts and manage subcontractors to finalize designs.</li> <li>Communicate effectively, manage deadlines, and provide reporting to leadership.</li> <li>Coach and mentor junior associates, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.</li> <li>Adapt to changing priorities and contribute to continuous improvement.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>5–8+ years in an engineering position, preferably with experience in Mission Critical projects.</li> <li>Experience with design process and management of complex projects, including teams and deliverables.</li> <li>Ability to interpret contract documents and agreements.</li> <li>Strong understanding of electrical and controls, including NEC standards.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to independently assess and evaluate issues and have difficult conversations professionally.</li> <li>High level of morality and ethics.</li> <li>Strategic, solutions-oriented, detail-oriented, and flexible.</li> <li>Independent worker with a collaborative mindset.</li> <li>Highly organized and detail oriented.</li> <li>Ability to coach and mentor others and receive meaningful feedback.</li> </ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with cross-discipline coordination and design quality reviews.</li> <li>Ability to innovate and adapt to new technology.</li> <li>Outstanding time management skills.</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p class="font_8 wixui-rich-text__text"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span class="wixui-rich-text__text">Holder is committed to Equal Opportunity Employment (EOE).</span></span></p> <p class="font_8 wixui-rich-text__text"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span class="wixGuard wixui-rich-text__text">​</span><span class="wixui-rich-text__text">Substance abuse testing and a background screening is a condition of employment and&nbsp;Holder Construction does not sponsor applicants for immigration status or benefits.</span></span></p></div>
