You will install, maintain, and repair the electrical and control systems that keep our production equipment running safely and efficiently.</p> <p>This is a hands-on role for an experienced electrician who enjoys troubleshooting complex systems, solving problems, and making a direct impact on plant performance.</p> <h2>Schedule</h2> <p>Our Lawton plant operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You must be able to work first, second, or third shift based on plant needs. Second- and third-shift employees receive additional shift pay.</p> <h2>What You’ll Do</h2> <ul> <li> <p>Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and control equipment</p> </li> <li> <p>Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers, including PLC ladder logic</p> </li> <li> <p>Diagnose problems involving electrical systems, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, motion controls, and mechanical systems</p> </li> <li> <p>Read and use electrical wiring diagrams, construction drawings, and schematics</p> </li> <li> <p>Install conduit, wiring, control panels, control wiring, and motor control centers</p> </li> <li> <p>Install and repair sensors, photoelectric equipment, proximity switches, and other automatic control devices</p> </li> <li> <p>Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and electronic circuits</p> </li> <li> <p>Complete preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and controls</p> </li> <li> <p>Support plant improvement projects and help reduce equipment downtime</p> </li> <li> <p>Follow all plant safety, food safety, and maintenance procedures</p> </li> </ul> <h2>What You’ll Need</h2> <ul> <li> <p>Two or more years of manufacturing experience, or relevant trade school training</p> </li> <li> <p>A high school diploma or GED</p> </li> <li> <p>Formal training in electrical systems, instrumentation, or process controls</p> </li> <li> <p>Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical, electronic, and PLC systems</p> </li> <li> <p>The ability to safely work on and around complex, automated equipment</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong problem-solving and communication skills</p> </li> <li> <p>The ability to work independently and as part of a team</p> </li> <li> <p>Flexibility to work any shift in a 24/7 manufacturing operation</p> </li> </ul> <p>Food manufacturing experience is preferred.</p> <p>Applicants must successfully complete Welch’s standard maintenance and electrical testing.</p> <h2>Pay and Benefits</h2> <ul> <li> <p>Starting pay of <strong>$37.86 per hour</strong></p> </li> <li> <p>Additional pay for second and third shifts</p> </li> <li> <p>Medical, dental, and vision coverage</p> </li> <li> <p>Health and wellness incentives</p> </li> <li> <p>Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays</p> </li> <li> <p>401(k) company contribution and match</p> </li> <li> <p>Employee Assistance Program</p> </li> </ul> <h2>Why Welch’s?</h2> <p>Our electricians play an important role in keeping the Lawton plant safe, reliable, and productive.
