Astranis designs, builds, and operates its satellites out of its 153,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Northern California, USA.</p></div><h4><strong>PCBA Technician</strong></h4> <p>As a PCBA Technician at Astranis, you'll be working in a fast paced environment supporting avionics, power, and payload systems. You'll be building and testing a wide variety of circuit boards, harnesses, and other test equipment. You'll work on R&amp;D and production systems with the engineering teams, debugging whichever issues show up that day.</p> <h4><strong>Role</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Rework, assemble, and debug printed circuit board assembly's (PCBAs)</li> <li>Inspect incoming boards to IPC-610 Class 2/3 standards</li> <li>Apply, remove, and rework conformal coating, staking, and other polymeric adhesives</li> <li>Lead form components to match engineering footprints and drawings</li> <li>Work with cross functional engineering team to support new developments</li> <li>Collaborate with design engineers to develop and document future activities</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Requirements</strong></h4> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED equivalent</li> <li>2+ years of experience working hands-on as a technician in the aerospace, automotive, or similar industries</li> <li>Electrical rework and soldering skills (0201 components)</li> <li>Wire crimping and harness assembly</li> <li>Familiarity with precision calibrated tools (calipers, torque wrenches, etc) for enclosure assembly</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail</li> <li>Must be onsite 5 days a week</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Bonus</strong></h4> <ul> <li>A.S. electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering technology or equivalent technical programs</li> <li>J-STD-001 certification</li> <li>Experience working in a clean room environment</li> <li>Experience working with electrical schematics and PCB design files, especially in Altium</li> <li>Experience working with EE bench test equipment (power supplies, multimeters)</li> <li>Advanced soldering and rework skills (BGA or similar high density packages)</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><div><strong>What we offer:&nbsp;</strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>All our positions offer a compensation package that includes equity and robust benefits.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Base pay is just one component of Astranis’s total rewards package.
