The position will encompass process piping and mechanical design from concept through construction in both Huntsville, AL and Hollywood, AL</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 10pt; color: #000000;">The ideal candidate will have experience working engineering tasks related to designing to ASME standards, fabrication, and construction of high pressure and temperature piping components. The candidate must be able to generate and interpret structural, thermal, and fluid simulation results when considering design options and weighing tradeoffs in design to best meet customer objectives. The candidate should be comfortable interacting with multiple stakeholders, including the government customer. This position will require a driven individual with a common-sense approach to hardware engineering and a passion for designing/analyzing/testing technologies. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt; color: #000000;"><strong><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">Requirements:</span></strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 10pt; color: #000000;">Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, or related engineering field</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 10pt; color: #000000;">5+ years of relevant experience</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 10pt; color: #000000;">Experience in fluid analysis and piping design including process component selection and process fluid design architecture</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 10pt; color: #000000;">Experience performing design and analysis of piping and tubing systems</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 10pt; color: #000000;">Knowledge of propulsion and fluid system components (i.e. valves, regulators, and high-pressure storage for fuels, oxidizers, and other fluids)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 10pt; color: #000000;">Knowledge of standard installation and fabrication methods of piping systems (tube stock, fittings, connections, fasteners, welding, etc.)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 10pt; color: #000000;">Experience creating fabrication and installation drawings with SolidWorks</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt; color: #000000;"><strong><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">Desired:</span></strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 10pt; color: #000000;">Familiarity and application of industry standards including: ASME/ANSI B16 and B31, API, etc.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 10pt; color: #000000;">Experience with analysis tools such as ABAQUS CAE, ANSYS, Thermal Desktop</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 10pt; color: #000000;">Currently holding a Secret Clearance</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 10pt; color: #000000;">10 years of high pressure/high temperature piping experience in oil and gas, chemical processing, power generation, or aerospace industry</span></li>

<p><strong><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and have ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. </span></strong></p>
<p><strong><u>Location:</u></strong> <strong>This role is based in Hollywood, AL with occasional travel to the Huntsville, AL area and is 100% onsite.</strong></p>
