Many projects ensure that life-changing drugs are available to those who need them; others streamline production to meet demand at a lower cost, allowing for the discovery of new and innovative therapies.</p></div><p><strong>MES Implementation Engineer – Apprentice.io Tempo</strong></p> <p>Life Sciences | Systems Integration / Consulting</p> <p><strong>Overview</strong></p> <p>We are building a delivery team to <strong>design, configure, deploy, and scale Apprentice.io’s Tempo Manufacturing Execution System (MES)</strong> for large life sciences manufacturing clients. This role sits in a <strong>hands-on consulting delivery environment</strong>, working directly with manufacturing, quality, automation, and IT stakeholders to move sites from paper or legacy MES to a modern, cloud-native execution platform.</p> <p>This is a <strong>delivery-focused role</strong> centered on <strong>process mapping, EBR/recipe configuration, integrations, validation support, and go‑live execution</strong> in regulated (GxP) manufacturing environments.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead <strong>process discovery and design workshops</strong> with client manufacturing, MS&amp;T, QA, QC, Automation, and IT teams.</li> <li>Translate <strong>paper and hybrid batch records</strong> into executable <strong>Electronic Batch Records (EBRs)</strong> within Apprentice Tempo.</li> <li>Configure Tempo objects including <strong>procedures, recipes, batches, equipment, materials, exceptions, and locations</strong>.</li> <li>Author, test, and refine <strong>EBRs and recipes</strong> in collaboration with end users to ensure usability, data integrity, and right‑first‑time execution.</li> <li>Support <strong>system integrations</strong> (equipment status, master data, lab/QMS/ERP touchpoints) in coordination with client automation and IT teams.</li> <li>Produce and maintain <strong>delivery and validation documentation</strong> (URS, FRS, configuration specs, test evidence) aligned with client CSV expectations.</li> <li>Execute <strong>iterative build–test–demo cycles</strong>, incorporating operator and QA feedback prior to qualification and go‑live.</li> <li>Support <strong>UAT, cutover planning, go‑live, and hypercare</strong>, including rapid issue triage during early production runs.</li> <li>Enable <strong>client ownership</strong> through documentation, admin guides, and knowledge transfer as part of engagement closeout.</li> <li>Operate within an <strong>agile, consulting-style delivery model</strong>, often supporting multi-site or phased MES deployments.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to Have </strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with <strong>MES, EBR, or digital manufacturing systems</strong> in life sciences (pharma, biotech, CGT, CDMO).</li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>GxP / CSV environments</strong> and regulated manufacturing workflows.</li> <li>Comfort working <strong>directly with clients</strong> in a delivery or consulting capacity.</li> <li>Prior exposure to <strong>io Tempo</strong> or other modern / no‑code MES platforms.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why This Role</strong></p> <ul> <li>Client-facing delivery work with <strong>real ownership of MES outcomes</strong></li> <li>Exposure to <strong>modern, cloud-native MES</strong> (not legacy recipe coding)</li> <li>Opportunity to support <strong>rapid deployments and multi-site scale‑outs</strong></li> <li>Strong mix of <strong>process, technology, and manufacturing operations</strong></li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Why Join Valspec?</strong></p> <p>At Valspec, we offer more than just a job — we provide a career experience rooted in a standout culture, collaborative environment, and a strong sense of ownership.
