Our people are ambitious, collaborative, and constantly evolving.</p> <h3>What You’ll Do &nbsp;</h3> <ul> <li data-section-id="1qv5uvm" data-start="129" data-end="248">Contribute to the delivery of high-quality, production-deployed software used in real-world commercial environments</li> <li data-section-id="i1b65b" data-start="249" data-end="325">Take a hands-on senior engineering role within a mature development team</li> <li data-section-id="hxpus8" data-start="326" data-end="393">Design, develop, and maintain production-grade C++ applications</li> <li data-section-id="1azpyq5" data-start="394" data-end="511">Participate across the full software development lifecycle, including design, code reviews, testing, and delivery</li> <li data-section-id="1tkav2m" data-start="512" data-end="608">Collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders in an agile environment</li> <li data-section-id="1nlt1rk" data-start="609" data-end="711" data-is-last-node="">Promote engineering best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes</li> <li data-section-id="1nlt1rk" data-start="609" data-end="711" data-is-last-node="">Work on legacy codebase, participating actively on modernisation efforts</li> </ul> <h3>What You Bring&nbsp;</h3> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience</li> <li>A degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical discipline</li> <li>Proven ability to mentor and coach engineers at different career stages, providing technical guidance, supporting goal-setting, and helping colleagues improve their practices</li> <li>Experience with MFC framework</li> <li>Significant hands-on experience in modern C++ (C++11 and later), including memory management, templates, concurrency, and the standard library</li> <li>Strong grounding in object-oriented design including SOLID principles, encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism</li> <li>Proficiency in SQL, specifically Microsoft SQL Server — including query optimisation and execution plan analysis</li> <li>Experience implementing and maintaining unit tests across UI, back-end services, and database layers</li> <li>Working knowledge of common software design patterns, performance profiling, and optimisation techniques for high-throughput or low-latency systems</li> <li>Demonstrable experience delivering maintainable, production-quality software in a commercial environment</li> <li>Comfortable working within an established SDLC including code reviews, design discussions, and collaborative deliver</li> </ul> <h3>Nice to Have</h3> <ul> <li>Experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem, particularly in cross-language integration or tooling contexts</li> </ul> <h3>English level</h3> <p>Upper-Intermediate</p> <h3>Legal &amp; Hiring Information</h3> <ul> <li>Exadel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion across minority, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, and more</li> <li>Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions</li> <li>Please note: this job description is not exhaustive.
