This role will support our&nbsp;government and commercial contracts process with timely billing, reconciliation, reporting<br>and collection of customer payments on these contracts. We’re looking for someone who&nbsp;has excellent attention to detail and strong organization and communication skills with an&nbsp;ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.</p> <h4>WHAT YOU’LL DO</h4> <ul> <li>Partner with internal and external business partners to expedite payment processing on aging receivables.</li> <li>Process daily cash applications and bank statement reconciliation, including&nbsp;processing of non-AR transactions like interest and bank fees within the cash&nbsp;management system.</li> <li>Closely track and follow up on delinquent, rejected, and short paid receivables, as&nbsp;well as open and unapplied credits and payments.</li> <li>Process approved credit memos.</li> <li>Maintain receivable aging report with up to date notation and analysis.</li> <li>Support cash collection forecasting and ad hoc reporting of billing and collection&nbsp;efforts.</li> <li>Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable ledger accounts, financial statements,&nbsp;and reports monthly.</li> <li>Assist with month end close reconciliations.</li> <li>Play an active role in government, third party, and internal audits and maintain&nbsp;accountability records.</li> <li>Prepare, process, and submit invoices to customers using government portals and&nbsp;other methods as required by the contract.</li> <li>Partner with financial analysts and program managers to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices as dictated by the contract.</li> <li>Adhere to relevant invoicing guidelines of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and&nbsp;requirements of DCMA, DCAA, DFAS etc.</li> <li>Establish systems to streamline the government accounting process for travel and&nbsp;other expenses associated with government contracts.</li> <li>Ad hoc projects and tasks as required by the business.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li>6+ years of accounts receivable experience</li> <li>A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred</li> <li>2+ years of government accounting experience including Cost Accounting&nbsp;Standards (CAS) and FAR preferred</li> <li>Experience with financial accounting systems (Oracle Fusion preferred).</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, queries/macros, pivot tables, etc.)</li> <li>High degree of accuracy and attention to detail</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively across departments</li> <li>Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines</li> <li>Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information&nbsp;or facilities</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$86,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$114,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
